Course Description
Reliability in AWS includes the ability of a system to recover from infrastructure or service disruptions. It's essential to acquire computing resources to meet the demand, and mitigate disruptions such as configuration issues or transient network problems.
In this course, you will first explore the key concepts and core services of AWS and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). We show you step-by-step how to implement a real-world application that is built via the reliability principles defined within the AWS Well-Architected Framework using the SRE approach. So you can increase the reliability of application architectures on AWS by implementing resilience infrastructure and application resilience.
You will be covering some common architectural patterns used every day by real-world AWS solution architects to build reliable systems and implement fault tolerance into an application architecture running on AWS. While learning how to further increase the reliability of application architectures on AWS by implementing multi-region solutions for disaster recovery on a global scale.
By the end of this course, you will have gained a variety of AWS architecture skills that you can then apply to the real world.

the content is good, but the explaining part could have been more, they could use more examples to make us understand better (beginner version)

Great so far! I am understanding how SRE plays part in the overall goal of user experience.

It's almost impossible to follow along because of outdated and poorly commented TF code with a lot of variables that contain values from manually created resources. I gave up at the end of 4th chapter. But, overall, it's interesting to listen to the author.

Good level of details and at the same time, not too much to digest. Planning to do the course in one sitting today, right now at the midpoint. Is a good course for someone at an intermediate level already to refresh/correct their design thinking. The arch patterns was the most useful section for me.

The course trainer uses the easiest and most comprehensible terms that make understanding things easier

Well paced and informative. Some typos you could look at though eg Quiz 4 question 3 for me was "You pat for ever ECS task" T/F? rather than "You must pay for every ECS task" T/F? - ans no you pay for underlying resources Please check each quiz qu as there were other typos.

Brilliant!! One of the finest courses I came across on Udemy. Perfectly balanced between the presentation and well within the time limit. This is one of those courses where the more you watch, the more you learn. Highly recommended for folks who need to see the REAL picture of SRE within AWS.

Overall is good but too much stuff in single course. It needs strong AWS experience to understand tools.
By Pat Kelly on 1/5/2021
Superb content very logically presented and with an actual example that is continuously improved using the SRE methodology demonstrated!
By Lewis Brown on 11/11/2020
Very good content. The instructor really knows his stuff. The only improvement would be the quizzes as they felt a bit rushed and were not particularly useful.
