Bluebeam in 3 Hours (Udemy.com)

I already use blue beam, but I am self taught on everything so I am hoping to get a lot of info from this beginners course. I do think the module 2 is out dated, those versions of blue beam do not seem to existing any longer. I purchased Basics, but there is Core and Complete as the 3 options to purchase on a yearly subscription.

I completed the "Bluebeam in 3 Hours". Overall, I found the course to be decent and it generally matches its description as an introductory guide. The instructor covers the main functionalities of Bluebeam Revu, providing a solid baseline understanding of the software. My primary feedback is regarding the depth of coverage on certain topics. While the course is good for a general overview, I was hoping for more focused time and detailed instruction on how to perform measurements using the program's tools. The section on measurement tools felt somewhat brief compared to the overall course length. I also noticed a fair amount of repetition throughout the lessons, particularly regarding basic navigation and repeatedly explaining how to access certain panels like the Markups list. While helpful for absolute beginners, this came at the expense of exploring other practical tools, like the measurement features, in greater detail. In summary, this is a satisfactory course for getting acquainted with Bluebeam Revu's general interface and core features. However, if you are specifically looking to master the measurement and quantification tools, you might need to supplement this course with additional resources.

The course was clear, concise and to the point, which was really appreciated. The course was also taught in more conversational tone which was really nice as it felt more engaging to learn the tools. Would recommend it to anyone trying to learn the basics of Bluebeam.

The instructor was very knowledgeable. I was able to follow along for the most part, but I'm not an engineer. I'm an Administrative Assistant assigned to assist the engineer with proposals and purchase orders. Taking this course gave me the courage to explore the software on my own to use certain features that will make my job easier.

First few modules is a sales pitch covering way too many versions which is not of interest to me or many of my fellow employees that have taken this course. Section 3 was very helpful in explaining tools and how markups can be reused, organized and viewed.

It's definitely helpful in mega projects but equally useful in smaller ones. It sets proper team coordination, markup updates & accessibility in sharing of the projects undertaken with the appropriate team members. Bluebeam is not difficult to adapt to the work project & work place. So it's a user friendly and a very effective tool in the timely development & or progress of the building project.

No, disappointing at best, wasn't relevant for what I needed.

The instructor doesnt provide any material for the course, he also moves through the process very quickly. Making it difficult to follow along ( I had my own pdf, trying to follow). I wish he would have slowed down and elaborated on more of the tools.
