Succinct, concise, and informative without being wordy. The pre-prepared notes are a life saver (the Udemy AI note taker is not a very high model), and the assessments (paired with the notes) really help solidify my understanding of the content.

Not sure if we are going to actually create something in this course so far. It feels like a lot of theory and not so much practical lectures. Personally I learn more by doing than reading/listening to material. I bought this course because I have no idea how software engineering works, so it is still very valuable information.

A lot about the requirements reflect on hardware. I would have liked to have seen more examples about software, e.g. extending the functionalities of a software rather than designing a piece of hardware.

Excellent course, gives high-level concepts in software systems design. Very relevant knowledge for me (beginner swe, I want to learn the high-level concepts first before diving into code). The goals of the course are clear and the actual teaching does not deviate from the course goals, and it feels like a genuine effort was put into making it valuable for students, and the instructor isn't trying to 'sell' anything.

i still dont know how to code but i like the course the tutor simplifies things in a way i like and i am here because he invited me after finishing his Algorithms course which was actually a banger ,thanks for the mentorship it is priceless

this course has already gone into more detail than I imagined. I am learning to code and use software, and I wanted to try Udemy to see if this line of work would be the best fit for me. He's good at explaining things in a way I can understand right now without all the schooling.

The course is really good, and the instructor is explaining the software engineering concept very well with great example. The in between exercise is reinforcing and making our understanding about the concept more solid.
