I thought the instructor was very thorough. He almost always started a lesson with the basic steps (how to create a sequence, how to locate different workspaces, etc.) and then went into more and more detail, which is really helpful. I am a beginner in Premiere although I know Photoshop and Illustrator so it was useful to see the similarities. Although I won't use many of the effects (probably) I now have tons of examples of how to create new and interesting effects in Premiere. I'm going to go through the course again since sometimes the instructor went very quickly and I want to make sure I see everything he's talking about. All in all a great experience.

Great training package. I've been editing with Premiere for decades and I found some very useful tips. One note, you made reference to 1080i as being a super 720, it's actually 1080 interlaced where it is split into two fields of 540 lines each. That's why you get that combing effect on fast moving subjects. Progressive is the way to go whenever possible.

Short, sweet, clear, to the point. It’s fast, but that’s what Pause and Replay are for. Just what I’ve been looking for. It’s also opening doors of possibility of stuff I didn’t even think about for PP. I thought I had to go with AE to do it.

A little bit pacey, but that's what the pause button is for. You don't mention the Mac shortcut keys most of the time only windows. Also in PP 2020 on the Mac the Camera Blur is missing, so that we can't follow your tutorial.

So far so good. The delivery is a little fast, especially when showing where effects are the mouse jumps around quite a lot. Part of the problem is of course the dark screen of Adobe Premiere, but a highlighted mouse might help. For example to get the black and white effect - by dragging colour and tint onto the track, it really wasn't explained why those two were selected - I know I can play around with colour, but a little more explanation of the other effects would be good.

The course was really amazing for me. I thoroughly enjoyed certain sections of the course like the Advanced & 3D effects, Changing the feel of videos and how to apply smooth transitions. The instructor also provided good tips to improve our editing style and I found the knowledge imparted to be really helpful. I will recommend this course to individuals who have some prior knowledge of Premiere Pro and are looking to enhance their skills

Interesting delivery and approach. Ive taken three our four different Premiere Pro classes with different instructors. The other instructors show you how to do something and then run through an exercise related to it.This class starts with the exercise and then quickly shows you how to do it. I'm not saying one technique is better or worse than the other, but in some ways, I feel like this class doesn't really connect the dots in all the ways the other classes do. This class does get right into it, and you learn a lot of tips and techniques. It is also fast paced and seems to accelerate a little at the end.

Kurt, I am assuming (yes, I know the joke)that you are teaching beginners with this course also. At 1:21 in the video you have told the students to set their panels to match yours, so they are at the default view of the effects panel, but you are not, so when you tell them to drag "Color Balance (HLS)" to the clip they have to find they actually need to go to Video Effects>Color Correction>Color Balance (HLS). Not wanting to Nit Pick, but you said you wanted feedback. Let me know if you want me to stop. Randy Arnold P.S. I apprecitate your course.
