WHAT WILL I LEARN?

We start byorganizingand importing our footage. You have won half the battle by doing this right.
Next we dive instantly into the editing. You will learn a professional workflow here.
As we're editing you will learn more and more tools from the user interface. Each button will be explained and used for practice.
Then comes the fun part where we'll create effects, titles and custom animations.
Finally we'll finish our video with color corrections and audio mixing to export the video with the best quality settings in a small file format.

I have Premiere Pro CS6, can I follow this course? Sure you can! This course has been created to get you started with the fundamental features that came from older versions.

Will I be able to create explosions and crazy visual effects after this course? I'm sorry to let you down, but no. Premiere Pro is a cut and slice program. But it's the core of the video editing process. Visual effects lay on top of your edit which is done in other applications and then brought to Premiere Pro.

Do I need a fast computer? As you will learn the basics you don't need a fast computer. But it will make editing much more pleasant once you can playback your footage smoothly.

Must I have video footage before I can take this course? Nope, I've made it easy for you. In the course attachment you can find the same video footage as used within the course. There's no copyright on it, so feel free to edit those clips and share it online! Who this course is for:

Its all good info, but Im not sure I need to know some of the details he shares. Im kind of a beginner but also not a beginner so still unsure how much of this will help or not. But hes doing a great job! So far so good

Very Good starter course, explains everything clearly and easy to follow. I believe the video is from 2014 and using Adobe CC 2014, but was still able to follow with Adobe CC 2020.
I recommend this course for absolute beginners.

Honestly felt the course lacked a lot of information, for instance when bringing in videos not compatible with software the course should of mentioned a program like Handbrake to make videos compatible. Also I felt like I learned more from Youtube and actually going to the Abode website they had better videos to learn from. Also nothing was mentioned about getting errors when adding transitions to a clip and what to do if it happened.

Yes I've watched several You Tube premier tutorials but these lectures are far more detailed and offer more theory and history

Although it is an older version of Premier Pro as we are now in 2020, I have learned a lot of basic stuff that I did not know. The lecturer was also very clear to understand. So I would say it was good 10/10
