Hi, I'm Jordy and I hosts one of the biggest YouTube channels about filmmaking & video editing; Cinecom.
With more than 2.7 million subscribers, we publish weekly tutorial videos. After graduating from film school in 2012, I immediately began teaching online where my real passion lays.
I've never liked the way education works. So I wanted to do something about it. With the classes I produce, I try to separate myself from the general crowd and deliver a course experience rather than some information thrown at a student.
Take a look at my unique courses, I'm sure you'll enjoy :-)

If you need something for starters, this is the choice to go. If you're more seasoned, there is little to learn here. Finished it anyway because the presentation was very straight forward and charmingly presented.

Excellent course! I really liked how the content is presented practical, straight to the point, and very well structured. The explanations are clear and concise, and each lesson adds something valuable in a simple and effective way. Great balance between theory and practice ,truly inspiring!

Concise yet prolific planned content. I like how the course focuses heavily on practical teaching insights, which makes it faster to grasp without tiring out. Catalyzes the student to think creatively. Leaves room for the student to experiment with all the rules, flows, and stories to tell.

So far so good. I've been enjoying the moments when I listened to the lecture and I liked particularly the way of lecturer's diction and his high energy that draws the audience a lot. I believe the rest of the lecture will have at least the same effectiveness or even more.

A little too brief in my opinion and serves more as the perfect series to reflect on basics, rather than a bible to advanced composition. A lack of examples on more advanced composition concepts was what I was hoping for. Still very useful regardless of that criticism.

I think this class serves as a first overall approach to composition but not for being basic is less valuable since many times during our learning process as a filmakers will need go back to these principles and basics to solve our shots from a solid starting point. Great Course.

I definitely recommend this course to people who just started filmmaking or interested in filmmaking. This course is organized very well and has a lot of example videos so you can easily and visually understand what the instructor is explaining. His voice is very clear and speaking speed is perfect !

Short, but precise with detail. Lots of Visual examples to give life to the lessons. It looks like a series of quick lessons, but you will find yourself taking time to making notes and example drawings along the way.
