SOLIDWORKS Dynamics: Learn 2D Animation & Motion Analysis (Udemy.com)

Very good course for those looking for an introduction to 2D dynamics. I personally did not know SolidWorks could be used to perform 2D motion studies. I am glad I followed this course, it helped a lot.

The explanations are generaly good and on point but sometimes incomplete. The person doing the sketches is moving way too fast and it is unnecessarily difficult to follow. Because I constantly had to rewind the video I missed some things in section 18 and had to start over. Not a disaster but definetly frustrating.

Falta algumas explicações de como fazer da forma correta. As perguntas nunca são respondidas. O curso deixa várias lacunas que quando vamos fazer os nossos próprios trabalhos causa grande confusão e dificuldade.

It was an excellent course. I learned what is very difficult to find anywhere in some hours and online. thanks for the knowledge.

It's a good course in 2D motion simulation. In this course we can learn how to simulate the 2D motion instead of Working Model 2D software that traditionally we were using in the university.

I am getting a hang of it and being able to split it on mobile while I watch on my laptop makes the learning experience easy to follow.

Good course, and good instructor. However, first, I was expecting more from the tool, which is too basic and Dassault did not invested too much on it. Second, the written passages and quizzes are a little bit confusing and hard to understand. In summary, it is a good call for students. It helps a lot the understanding of dynamics problems.

Buen curso y bien estructurado si se parte de cero. Muy recomendable. Hecho en falta ejercicios con variables adicionales (con fricciones, masas, desplazamiento de fuerzas etc..) en definitiva más ejercicios prácticos. Gracias

Great course! What made this course really exciting is that the concepts are explained beforehand which gave a great sense of satisfaction when I saw the sketched parts behaving according to plan in the motion analysis phase. Not only have I learned how to use, edit and saving blocks in efficient ways, I have also acquired some of the tutor's sketching speed with the help of shortcuts and mouse gestures let alone getting encouraged to add my own custom shortcuts. Sometimes I faced problems with the quizzes as I couldn't download the resources so I had to sketch as I watch.,so the questions concerning the study of how driven dimensions change with a certain movement had to be skipped because we had totally different ratios. Furthermore, some quiz questions were pretty tricky it was funny when I was asked in the last quiz if the sketch path was a good addition to the project, the first thought that came to mind " But it didn't work in layout, we had to change the whole cam design" so I chose false only to find out it was true haha. Again great course I would totally recommended if you want to get introduced to the very helpful 2D sketch motion analysis.

The course is well organized and the instructor teaches new topic in solidworks which encouraged me at the first place to buy the course. The instructor knows exactly what he is teaching and the course will help me in my dynamics projects. thank you I'm leaving 4.5 rating because the instructor didn't revise the sketch different tools. so before taking this course make sure that you are familiar with the sketch tools and you can draw in solidworks. I also find no problem following the instructor while he was drawing. but maybe someone else will need more explanation.
