Spanish 1-4: Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced (Udemy.com)

Well I unenrolled in Coursera today because no classes I could find were truly beginner. This is truly beginner! Although I know basic Spanish, I wanted to start from the very beginning, to learn it well. This is truly the best! I like the vibe of the class, it feels like I am watching a VHS tape or a mid 2000s DVD. I learn the best this way. Sometimes, technology gets so advanced, we move past the basics. And if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Thank you for this! Now my son who is 7 can learn Spanish with me. It's truly the best!

I really enjoyed this course! A huge amount of knowledge for a great price. Thanks to it, I’ve made tremendous progress in Spanish. The course format is excellent – it’s as easy to watch like a sitcom, the characters’ adventures are presented in an engaging way, and the visuals evoke a pleasant sense of nostalgia. In addition to Spanish knowledge, it also offers plenty of fascinating insights into Latin American countries. I’ve just finished it, and I’m really going to miss it!

I went into this course already knowing a fair amount of Spanish. I cannot give my opinion as a beginner using this course to learn from scratch. The course offers a lot of material to help reinforce core ideas of grammar, structure, along with some amount of vocabulary. The presentation of the course, however, is amateurish. Everything feels whipped up in powerpoint in a single afternoon.

I made it through every lesson. But it felt too basic for me. All the other things I've been doing to try and learn Spanish always seemed to keep me ahead of the lessons. And some concepts that seemed simple were given two lessons. And they didn't cover what, for me, is the most confusing: direct and indirect object pronouns. But it was a good effort on their part. Unfortunately, it's getting a bit dated.

Es un buen curso y las lecciones son bastante bien organizadas... Lo que no me gustó es que hubo lecciones que duraban más que 30 minutos, cuando se trata del aprendizaje en línea, eso no es una buena idea, teniendo en cuento la concentración de la gente en estos tiempos. Además, las lecciones son interesantes, útiles, las explicaciones son buenas y claras...

I started this course from zero and finished it in 53 days. First of all, I want to say that it is a course worth every penny. You all need to know that learning a language requires stability. The teachers of this course have done their best. The rest is up to you. Finally, I ask my teachers to add the exercises from the last 2 chapters and to open another course for the advanced level. ¡Gracias por este curso educativo!

I like that the material was repeated a few times so that I could understand it better. This will be helpful when moving into unknown territory.

loved the course, and will look forward to referring to it in the future to top up. small differences between Spanish and South American Spanish, but i got the general understanding. i took this course to enable me to converse with Spanish families, and whilst not 100% comfortable, I feel in a much better position than previous
