I really enjoyed this course. The way you explain every nuance of professional animation is incredibly valuable and makes the learning experience very effective. As a suggestion for future content, it would be great to include more detailed guidance on using references, along with more examples of character actions specifically tailored to slot games.

This course is absolutely fantastic. I had no knowledge about how to use Spine but now I feel confident to navigate the software and create animations. The instructor is articulate, soft spoken with a great pace to follow along. 10/10 course. My only request would be to add a section for the jump animation and an attack animation. The instructor covers the fundamentals, so I can definitely figure it out from what she has taught, but it would have been cool to see how a professional creates these animation sequences.

I have successfully completed the 2D Spine Animation course, and I am extremely satisfied with the learning experience. The course covered everything from basic Spine interface navigation to advanced rigging techniques, mesh deformation, IK constraints, animation cycles, and game-ready export formats. The practical assignments helped me understand professional workflow used in game development. I especially appreciated the clear explanation of bone hierarchy, skinning techniques, and animation optimization for Unity/Unreal integration. This course has significantly improved my confidence in creating production-ready 2D character animations. I highly recommend it to aspiring game animators and designers

I'm early in the course but wanted to give a feedback anyway: I'm really enjoying the clarity of the presentation. I like the voice of the person, the language / the phrasing of thoughts. It somehow doesn't distract from the content and ideas. Really good!

Very clear instructions. As someone who touched spine for the first time with some background in animation but nothing in live 2D, I found this very helpful! Goes through the whole process and leaves you with enough knowledge to start testing things on your own.

Almost perfect, I found it a bit hard to follow the sped-up video footage (to compare I did the same steps correctly of the already-known techniques), and sometimes she was very quick to do some UI actions, also through keybinds I guess, and these steps weren't mentioned clearly (I had to re-watch a couple times). Also some videos still have the old graph editor and I didn't figure out exactly how she was changing the curves of some bezier curves in the graph. Sometimes she says "right" and then moves the keyframes to the "left" instead, and the opposite, which also confused me. The "Advanced Features" section seem incomplete as it only contains a 4min-long video on how to export the spine animation, I thought there were some actual "advanced features" but I wouldn't call the "export" function that every animator should know to deliver their work as an "advanced feature" (quite basic I would say). Overall the instructor talks in a very clear tone and language, and really knows how to explain spine in a easy to understand way. The best course available on Udemy to learn Spine

This is exactly what I needed to learn how to navigate through Spine. Watching YouTube only helps so far. Focusing on one character really helps to learn how to troubleshoot when issues arise. The lectures build on top of each other and often the answers can be found on the knowledge from a previous one. I'm familiar with Adobe Flash (yeah it's been a while) so learning the UI and what it's capable of doing was an easy transition.

It’s been a wonderful learning experience so far. The way you explain concepts is clear and engaging, and I really appreciate your support and guidance throughout the course. Looking forward to learning even more in the second half. Thank you for your dedication! I really loved it

Sometimes you are telling that you are holding control sometimes you don't, since it is not so visible whether you are pressing CTRL or not. It would be greate to use a utility which shows what you press on the keyboard. The explanation is nice but since I am a beginner I want to repeate and watch the same process as much as I can, but you just making some parts fast forward which is a nightmare for a beginner. That's why I hate timelapse videos on Youtube videos as well.

To be honest, its kinda complicated. I mean, i had to practice for 2 days just to understand the parts with the skeleton, meshes, etc. She's explaining literally everything but you ll have so damn many questions where u have to find the answer yourself if u don t want to wait for her reply. You ll keep hit your head on some bugs or errors or your mistakes that you wont understand them in that moment. But this course, will help u even when you ll try to animate your own character. Is not for advanced ppl, its for early beginners just like me and its very good explained IF you listen very very carefully. If you just go trough the steps, you ll find in your way a lot of problems that will make you give up or understimate yourself. So, keep your ears and eyes up. I didn t went trough all the course but i can give u some tips that helped me. 1. Watch the entire course without making your own character step by step just like her. Maybe it sounds weird but if you do this, you ll be more focused on the video and what she says. I missed a lot of things bcs i followed her step by step from the beginning that made me questioning myself what i am doing wrong cuz i m following every step. 2. Don t try to make your own character if you can't animate Astrid. This made me literally lose one day of practicing just cuz i tried on my own character without knowing a patato about how spine works. Animate first the Astrid and then when you're proud of yourself, you can swap to other characters. 3. Try to learn first of all about how Meshes / Skeleton works. This 2 things are much harder than u think. If you don t know, you ll have always questions like: ''Why she connected that bone istead of that one'', ''Why she put that bone there'', ''Why i have to put more verti there and not there'', etc. And will make your way trough this course even harder. Because maybe now you ll make it out with Astrid cuz you ll copy step by step, but when you ll have to make your own character, how you are gonna build the Skeleton or the Verti? Theory here is much powerful than practicing. In conclusion, i recommend this course, its amazing, its kinda harder for beginners but it will be more understandeble if you ll go trough him again and again. Peace and aim top guys
