Spotfire - The Complete TIBCO Spotfire Course (Udemy.com)

Great. The explanations of online training using actual tool was very clear. I can learn what I wanted to do. I believe this training is an ideal course for beginners of TIBCO Spotfire.

Very practical course! It helped me move beyond just using charts to actually building interactive dashboards with live data connections. The instructor explained every step clearly, and I now feel confident creating production-ready Spotfire analyses.

So far good but in terms of content many important sections are not covered like filtering scheme affecting each other ,JavaScript limiting expression and Scripting using R and Python which are essential for building production ready Dashboards.

Wonderful beginners course to get me started using Spotfire. A couple places of improvement. I have a desktop version of Spotfire and the mapping feature in the first course was hard to follow because I needed to connect to the sample data on my C: drive. Mentioning that the library is not available on Desktop would have been beneficial as I wouldn't have stop the course to look for the geocoding. Another improvement would be from lesson to lesson, build upon the filter from the previous lesson. Many times, I had to stop and figure out the filter to ensure I got the same answer. Otherwise, the course was very educational and I look forward to building on the tools that course has given me.

Love it. The course is enjoyable because it's so visual and the instructor makes it easy to follow. I love that it's a short course because psychologically it removes that sense of feeling overwhelmed. Even if advanced topics are not covered, I would rather start out with something digestible that gives me the confidence to build on the basics.

This course gives you the basics to produce useful dashboards in Spotfire in under 3 hours. The lecturer was engaging and the file provided for practice was useful to get to know the basics of different visualizations. Some nice tips also shared by George.

The course gives a good overview of Spotfire with good tips on what, when and why different visualisation would be good to use. For me, the topics were delivered in the right pace, so it's easy to follow. So, why the 3.5*: 1) The title of the course has the word "Complete" - Yes, I feel that I can start building simple visualisation with Spotfire (and I'm sure that the more that I use it, the more familiar I'll become with it), but I was also expecting that we would go over the 'scripting' - like what is the basic structure of a script (when do we use brackets, when do we use comma, etc.) 2) George is responsive when asked questions and he does try to help/answer your questions asap. But there are instances (twice in my case), where what I see on my screen isn't looking like George's. And it just seems like there's nothing that can be done to fixed it 'with this being a virtual course' (e.g. George can't check your Spotfire setting from afar). This dampened the learning process, although doesn't stop it. I did purchase this course while it's on sale, so for me it was totally worth it and I can tolerate the 'gaps' that I mentioned above.

Really good course to give you an overview of Spotfire and long enough to allow you get involved and learn. I enjoyed the pace and I think it was in depth enough - neither too easy nor too advanced. A great starting course if you've never touched Spotfire before (like me) and need to understand it fairly quickly.

I needed to learn TIBCO Spotfire for my job and future jobs - coming from a Microsoft Power BI background this course is really helpful and straightforward on the basics of Spotfire's UI
