Overall a very good and informative course. Covered a lot of context with short lectures that don't exhausts you. In my opinion it was lacking in practical exercises and assessments. (p.s. I found the audio sometimes a bit challenging to follow but minor detail.)

This course was a good refresher on some of the more complex concepts that I do not use every day, such as cursors. Whilst it is good to see how to write the code, what would have enhanced the course would be to understand why we would use some of these. For example, in what scenarios would we use ranking. What are the benefits? Overall a decent course which was easy to follow and provided decent examples of writing the code.

The subject matter and pace is perfect for me. Answers a lot of questions I've had about SQL. Includes queries that I've never considered but will now. I've already realized a solution to an issue I've struggled with in the past. Instant pay-off.

Most was good. But there is still some issues that haven't been explained in details. For example, it's never mentioned explicitly that a declared variable is valid only in the batch within it's declared. I would have liked to know why it is that way. I thus don't really understand why whe should put some calculation within a variable if we can't really use it afterward. In the same direction, I don't understand the benefits of dynamic sql, due to the same fact that variables can't be reuse in a subsequent batch.

Overall a great introduction to advanced sql concepts. Should have covered other topics such as materialized views, more windows functions, and little bit on database normalization. Some of videos had very low volume so it was bit hard to hear, but overall i am satisfied with the course.

If your job involves SQL (three years for me) and you aren't at expert/guru status, take this course. This stuff is instantly applicable. Might be my favorite UDemy course so far. You have a sample database to follow along with. The guy covers each skill in a succinct ~five min video. I ended buying this after a couple soul draining hours browsing ggl/stackexchange. Answers there were garbage. Solution i found here was that i can put the same Case in my Select and Group By statement. I've probably applied four or five different items at work already

I like the way, the style and the pace the instructor is explaining the topic. I think it's in-sync with the nature of this intermediate (non-beginner) course. Good job! One slight improvement could be to indent the SQL code examples a bit better to make it more readable in more complex cases.

Very useful content that I've seen in many places on web. What distinguishes this course is the presenter's easy-to-understand demonstrations of building queries to solve typical problems. I will use this content immediately in my work. I really received good value from this one.

I really enjoyed this course. The instructor definitely has a knack for teaching. There is an amazing amount of content covered; just enough to give you a solid footing with SQL. Highly recommended for those needing to fill in the gaps on their knowledge, or if you're just starting out. It's worth the time and money spent.

This class is very well presented and has wonderful flow from topic to topic. It explores advanced sql topics, which may not get frequent use, but are valuable none the less. The instruct has a great delivery and keeps the material interesting. I did find myself wondering what each component is most useful for. Some real world examples of what each SQL statement generally gets used for would be very helpful as example.
