Great course. I'm using VS 2022 so there were a few differences but nothing I couldn't handle. For instance the hard drive path to where the templates are stored in VS 2022 is different than the VS version being used by Raphael. But for someone who had a basic knowledge of SSRS it was a great next step. Raphael went into a good amount of detail. And the repetitive aspects of the course were really great for developing comfort and memory with the various features of SSRS. Thanks Raphael! Great work. I really appreciate all the time and energy you put into this course. All the best!

Good instruction, good content good pace and good examples. I like the way you leave in your mistakes so we students can see how to troubleshoot issues on our own. The only issue I have is that the SSRS PART 1 SCRIPTS AND DOCS download seems to have some things mismatched or out of order. Nothing a good going over wouldn't fix. Would definitely recommend it to others.

This course was extremely helpful for learning how to use Visual Studio to setup SSRS reports. I'm excited to continue on to Part 2. One bit of feedback that I have is that some of the lessons started and/or ended a bit confusing and I wasn't always sure where to begin the next lesson. Some of the lessons started with a report already setup and I wasn't sure where that report came from, if we had already created it and just needed to reopen it, etc. Other than that, this course was very user-friendly, Raphael is quick to respond to questions, and definitely knows what he's doing. Looking forward to taking other courses with him.

Rafael is a great teacher and explains all aspects of the subject being taught very thoroughly. Everything was well taught my only critic would be to go more in-depth on the embedded and bookmarking. It seemed like it was not explained in-depth as much as the other lessons. Otherwise the course was great and am really looking forward to the second course!

I often had to stop and rewind the video to see what is the teacher doing. I mean sometimes he navigated between properties a little too fast for me. I have watched all videos and created the reports while watching them. Still I think it is the best Reporting S. course on udemy. Thanks for creating this course! It is way better than reading a book.

What a wonderful course! Such a enthusiasm and energy. I enjoyed the course from the beginning to end, no glitches, easy to follow and you feel accomplished. Thanks. I already bought the 2nd part of the course now and can easily any course from this instructor. So don't even think if you are serious about learning SSRS.

Overall, the course was exquisite. Easy to follow and understand. I'm able to create reports but I didn't find material on how to publish these created reports. How to present them? I'm hoping that I don't need to open VS everytime when I am having a discussion with the upper management. Can you please add a mini tutorial(s) on this part? Thanks!

I landed my first SQL Server DBA job in just 1 year after I started taking Raphael's courses. They are so in-depth and apply to the real world. If you dedicate some time to these courses and take them in the order that he suggests, you'll be a pro in SQL Server in no time. Order: Learn T-SQL, SQL Admin Part 1, SQL Admin Part 2, SQL Admin Part 3, SQL SSRS Part 1, SQL SSRS 2, SSIS, Mock Program Part 1, Learn Advanced T-SQL All the best as we continue to learn and broaden our knowledge! Cheers!!!!!!

I was back and forth between 4 and 5 stars, but I give this 5 stars because of the content. There are a few hiccups here and there, but overall the way Raphael communicates the content is very much "real world" and not just conceptual. I used SSRS a few jobs ago and purchased this for a refresher. This class was great for that.

The course is really good. Instructor shows all functionalities by doing the reports from scratch even that some steps are repetitive but they're done in order to reinforce what is learned so far. The only reason I'm not rating the course with 5 stars is because in some lectures the instructor has technical difficulties, forgetting a step or receiving unexpected behaviors and he troubleshoots during the lectures instead of just pause the video. Really good course, totally recommended.
