Course Description

Ready to grow? Then let's skip the hypothetical and get into the tactical. This course will arm you with 19 proven, actionable, and no BS growth hacks to help you grow -- taken by over 10,000 students.

I hate the term growth hacker, but I love the concept. The idea that you can grow a business from 0 to thousands of customers without much of a marketing budget is a beautiful thing, and very much the result of growth hacks — free marketing tactics that grow traffic, brand, links, and eventually, a customer base.

I've built many startups, and at each one, the same question has kept me up at night: What can we do to expedite growth? You see, an early-stage company is never lacking time and effort, it's lacking tactics — tactics that earn customers without relying on a big budget.

This course was created to change that. To arm you with the tactics you need to grow.

The tactics in the course include:

  • Creating an FAQ for long-tail SEO

  • Following competitor mentions for link building

  • Developing partner-led distributions

  • Creating a successful referral program

  • Getting PR coverage

  • High-touch sales and product adoption outreach

  • Verification programs for search

  • Social media prospecting

  • Video content creation

  • Comment marketing (the right way)

  • In-app sharing and network effects

  • Customer win-backs

  • Influencer programs

  • Creating viral loops and larger network effects

  • Content marketing and long-form guides

  • Product led integrations

  • Free tool creation for high-intent search

  • Remarketing to high-intent audiences

  • Content syndication

Tres bon cours, dommage que le son ne soit pas agréable Very good lesson, too bad that sound has unpleasant

By Vadim Rutkevich on 8/26/2019

Was a bit skeptical about this course. But it is quite useful, hope to get new GH tactics in the course updates. P.S. Even sound does not spoil the whole impression. Greatly recommend it.

Excellent course! Short, sweet and to the point. Loads of real work examples. The instructor is very knowledgeable and refers to real-world experiences. Also really appreciated how much he focused on free growth hacks! That was a nice surprise! The only thing that I found distracting was how much he said "um". Probably a hundred times or more. I would recommend more public speaking coaching for the instructor before doing more courses, but that was a small distraction in a larger and hugely valuable course. Thanks so much, Andrew!!

Je pensais que le cours de growth hacking serait basé sur des idées simples á appliquer pour faire croitre le nombre d´utilisateurs. Jusqu´á maintenant je n´ai vu que des tactiques qui demandent beaucoup de temps a mettre en place.

By Ankur Pahuja on 9/6/2017

Bad presentation skills. Presenter is using a lot of 'Ummmm'.. and seems to be rushing through the info.

By Yashar Kardar on 5/29/2017

Listing of the tactics were nice, but I wish there were more examples, variation on implementations or some juicy information on how to manipulate these techniques.

By Tina Yazdi on 12/12/2016

He disqualifies himself alot, whcih is annoying - one video out of order which was confusing

By Vladimir Guriev on 6/19/2015

I can't say that this course is absolutely worthless but the title is quite misleading. It's not advanced in any way, it's a very brief overview of some marketing approaches without any significant details and meaningful examples. Maybe, it could be useful for newbies but even in this case you will get only rough directions, so it's not very actionable also. On the positive side: it's very short.

By Ismaila Neill on 12/29/2014

This was an overall excellent lesson with endless positives. You're not bombarded with information and the fact that he shows his face just makes the whole thing more legit. It's very evident that Andrew Dumont knows what he's talking about and I feel a bit silly telling him he did a "great job". He's got a host of accomplishments under his belt and this shows in the professionalism of the video (emphasized by how simple it is). Great intro and add on to anyone interested in growth hacking and the available tactics to use. It's courses like these that make udemy so great. Would highly reccomend

By Oscar Gil on 10/27/2014

These tactics aren't going to scale your business/startup 10 fold, but they do get your mind thinking. I highly recommend those who are new to growth hacking/start ups/businesses to try this course out The way he thought these courses were very engaging and fun.. never a boring-monotone voice. And absolutely no fluff
