This course clearly emphasized SUSE system administration, particularly the mastery of the Vim editor. Vim is a powerful and essential tool for SUSE system administrators, and gaining proficiency with it requires both time and practice. Therefore, the fact that the Vim editor section was allocated a substantial 2 hours and 39 minutes demonstrated the course's strong intent to not just teach basic operations, but to ensure we thoroughly acquired "real-world applicable skills" by repeating information, which helped solidify our understanding. This was an incredibly valuable learning experience for me.

By Geoff Hull on 6/14/2025

The information presented is quite thorough, and has a good level of detail. However, some topics are not covered, like using zypper. Also, you might struggle with the tutor's strong accent.

The fantastic Linux Administration course is filled with in-depth course-related content and has an excellent teaching approach that is appropriate for all students.

By Rose Ball on 1/31/2023

The course helped me learn the basics along with the advanced-level topics of complete Linux. Thanks to the instructor for explaining the concepts in detail.

By Martha Pulliam on 1/30/2023

I think it was very good. The amount and depth of information on all subjects really took me from knowing bits and pieces to understanding what a Linux administrator can do.

By Jonathan Byrne on 1/8/2023

There were a lot of things to learn in this outstanding course. Additionally, the instructor taught very well. Overall, this was a very good and very interesting class.

By Isaac Callum on 1/20/2020

The interface quality is very poor. It could have been darker or stronger. I have to really stretch or tear my eyes to seek the fonts and items properly. Sad. Not worth the money. However, the quality of the instructor is fine.

By Raymond S. Smith on 8/1/2018

Very detail oriented into some SUSE Linux system administration as well as basic level FHS layouts. I would recommend this to any beginner or even export as a refresher course. The instructor speaks slowly and clearly so you stay focused. He provides good notes in his speech that you can write down to keep on hand.

By Mike Fowler on 4/26/2018

The instructor clearly knows the system comfortably. I was hoping for more depth in the course. all in all it was insightful.

By Andrei Giubleanu on 1/13/2018

The course in it's actual state is incomplete. The same info you can find freely on the internet. I was expecting to see many aspects of the system that yast can manage ( and it cat manage a lot ) . So if the instructor is willing to further update the course and talk a bit rarely due to the accent, then it will be a sweet buy ( the course is currently 1 hour long, please make your goal at least 2.5 hours to show different aspects ) . Otherwise, don't buy it.
