Welcome everyone to the T-SQL course. T-SQL is also popularly referefered to as T-Sequel .
In this course you will learn all the basics of T-SQL. We will discuss the T-SQL features step by step. We will be using SQL Server Express 2014 (which is a free download). As a sample, we will use AdventureWorks 2014 as our database. Along the way, we will be creating our own t-SQL queries to get data into a database and also out of a database. But AdventureWorks 2014 will be our main focus. As far as T-SQL, we will start with the simple select statements and add new features as we go. I will introduce you to the data types available so you can make the appropriate selection when creating a column. Then, we will talk about joins, functions, tables, procedures, triggers, indexes, and much more. By the time you are done with this course, you will be very comfortable using T-SQL. This course will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills to create queries using Transact-SQL. It will teach you how to select, filter and sort data from multiple tables and how to use views and stored procedures. You will also be familiar with SQL Server Management Studio 2014 also known in the tech industry as SSMS. This is the tool you will use to write and see the output of your T-SQL queries.

There was lot of repetition of the same thing, lecture after lecture. In at least 30 lectures, in the beginning the instructor is repeating the same thing to open the Management Studio and select AdventureWorks2014 db, so that part was boring.

Great beginner course, although there was about 1-2 min of every video explaining the same thing every time such as explaining what database we are using and that he is using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.

When downloading sql server, I noticed there was a 2017 version available. Perhaps that would be better for those of us wanting to use the newest resource. 2014 was used in this course.
It seems there was some issue with the installation as I could not find ssms when the course called for it.
Additionally, suggested resources are not linked, you must search them to find the downloads, putting your computer at risk for malicious software if you choose the wrong page.
Finally, issues with the sample database included: a link that pointed to an out-of-date site, recommended zip software not required, unclear instructions on what you were doing.
Would not recommend this course if you are beginner. Not very user-friendly and not kept up with.

Presentation seems thorough, and presenter seems knowledgeable. The presentations seems a little slow though, even at 2x speed, and the content is very shallow. It would be nice to learn some of the reasons behind things, or practical applications.
