I followed the course and practiced with the lab exercises and because of those exercises I passed the exam today. This is the course to follow and pass the exam, but you need to practice a lot with the labs and do them multiple times before doing the actual exam.

A bit lengthy for "practitioners with extensive production experience in both authoring and operations" (intended audience according to HashiCorp - PDF file is then enough to check required knowledge). Otherwise, very complete course; challenges are priceless for dry-run training.

Both Associate and Professional Courses together serve the great master reference for learning terraform and gaining real-world practical experience at the same time. For me, Associate course learning enables the needed skills to observe the professional course advanced topics. Though there are some of sections are repeated between courses, they served as natural revision for me. Especially professional course is an amazing knowledge packed one. It's my personal observation that when learning recent introduced concepts such as import, moved, multi providers usage from associate course didn't enable the complete clarity when watched for first time. But professional course concepts learning foundation and watching for another time from professional course has completely eliminated all clarity confusions around many advance concepts for me. If you are looking for gaining deeper terraform skills - This course is a great one. This course reflected majority of the common problem scenarios encountered in my real-world enterprise terraform development environment. It enables the ideas and thoughts to solve many of the other complex enterprise development problem scenarios are not directly covered in the course. Instructor has deeper practical experience on terraform, that reflected in teaching style and best practices followed in the course examples. I learned lot of new skills such as scanning, testing and checks from this course which are great reference to incorporate in my enterprise private terraform modules automated development. Both the courses knowledge will enable the great foundation for the enterprise terraform development and certifications as well.
