This course gave useful information about a key part of cybersecurity. I really liked how practical it was and how it focused on dealing with threats step by step instead of just reacting to them.

This course helps you understand threat modeling better. The step-by-step method is easy to understand and useful. It helped me learn how to spot and think about possible security problems in a clear way.

The Art of Threat Modeling explains a complicated cybersecurity subject in a simple, easy-to-follow way. This practical method makes it simpler to learn how to spot and deal with security problems.

This course exceeded my expectations. I had heard about threat modeling before, but I never really understood how to do it in a structured way until I took this course. The instructor explains everything clearly and keeps the content practical and easy to follow. I liked that the course focuses on real-world thinking rather than just theory. By the end, I felt much more confident about identifying threats and discussing security risks during design and development. If you're looking for a solid introduction to threat modeling without getting overwhelmed, this is a great place to start.

The signal to noise ratio on the course was very high. I'd say about an hour+ of content was filled with random quotes, and introducing the next section, or recapping the previous section. Intro/outro music became tiresome as well. The content was useful, but a condensed version of this course should be created to deliver the key facts in about half the time.

Felt the course content could have been structured a little better - The lessons/section did not seem to flow too well. For instance, module 1 a section on had approaches to threat modeling and then again in module 2, there was a section on the threat modeling process. This felt repetitive. Too much time spent on Microsoft's tool. I would have rather used concrete examples of an entire threat modeling process, from start to finish. Also, the background screen changes too often, the music and quotes felt overused and distracting.
By Ravi Kiran on 11/23/2025
Appreciate the effort. There is too much theory. I was expecting explanations of various threats and mitigation options. And kudos for colleting all those quotes. Please make sure they are not interfering with the content.
