Great course. It covered a lot of topics in depth. Dan does a great job explaining key concepts and moves at a good pace. Dan shares a lot of other useful resources and regularly looks at the Groovy docs during lessons to demonstrate how to use those.
If you're interested in Groovy, this course is a nice way to get familiar with it and to see a lot of its cool capabilities in action.

Listening to someone speak is my least favorite method to learn. I like to read, because then I can re-read. To re-hear a section of the lecture I have to move the playing position indicator, find the spot (usually it is wrong); it is a nuisance.
