Course Description

Welcome to the Complete Quantum Computing Course!

Quantum computers are expected to change our lives drastically in upcoming years. We know we can solve specific problems in minutes in Quantum computers while we can solve them in thousands of years in classical computers. If you want to get ahead of the technology and learn about future, then you are at the right place!

Throughout the course we will start from scratch and understand principals of quantum mechanics and how to use them in quantum computers. We will write our own codes to execute on real quantum computers using IBM Qiskit technology. If you have high school level of mathematical knowledge, you can take this course.

Training is given by Atil Samancioglu, who has more than 250.000 students worldwide on Programming & Cyber Security along with the Codestars, serving more than 1 million students online. Atil is co-founder of Academy Club & Pera Games and he also teaches programming in Bogazici University in Turkey.

Some of the topics that will be covered throughout the course:

  • Quantum Computer and Classical Computer principals

  • Probability, Statistics, Matrices

  • Superposition

  • Entanglement

  • Interference

  • Qubit

  • Superdense Coding

  • Quantum Teleportation

  • Bernstein Vazirani Algorithm

  • Deutsch Algorithm

  • Shor Algorithm

  • Grover Algorithm

  • Python from Scratch

  • Quantum Fourier Transform

  • Quantum Phase Estimation

Training will start from completely zero and you will be able to reach the trainer in Q&A section if you have anything in your mind. All materials used in the training will be shared via GitHub and Udemy. Throughout the course we will use real Quantum Computers as well as simulators using IBM Qiskit framework. Python programming language will be delivered from scratch to all the way up to the details.

When you complete this training you will be able to understand theory and practice of Quantum Computing, write your own circuits and execute codes on real quantum computers. You will easily adapt your quantum knowledge to other Quantum computers rather than IBM. Since IBM is the only provider for quantum computers on cloud, without paying any fee right now, all examples will be executed on IBMQ.

This course is eligible for the Codestars Certificate Authority (CCA) certificate. Students can take the official exam via codestarscom, and those who pass the quiz will receive their CCA certificate. (more details in the course!)

Happy coding!

Instructor Details

Codestars

Codestars is a community of instructors behind 100+ courses and over 3 million students worldwide. We were one of the first coding communities to build here, and we've kept building — across web development, mobile, cyber security,  and now AI-powered  development and automation.

We want to revolutionize the way people learn to code by making it simple, logical, fun and, above all, accessible. Our courses are built to teach real, applicable skills, taught by instructors who know the subject and know how to teach it.

Together, the instructors that make up the Codestars team create courses on all the topics that students want to learn in the way that students want to learn them: courses that are well-structured, super interactive, and easy to understand.

Whatever you're here to learn — from the fundamentals of programming to the latest in AI-powered development — you're learning from a channel that has already done this at scale, with millions of students, and a track record to show for it.

My experience with quantum computing has been exciting and educational. Although I have not worked with a real quantum computer, I learned its basic concepts such as qubits, superposition, and entanglement through online resources and classroom discussions. I also explored quantum programming languages like Qiskit and understood how quantum computing can solve complex problems faster than classical computers. Learning about this technology has increased my interest in advanced computing and inspired me to explore it further in the future.

By BOYA KEERTHANA on 7/13/2026

Although I have not worked with a real quantum computer, I learned about quantum computing through classes, videos, and online resources. I found it interesting because it uses qubits instead of bits, allowing it to solve some complex problems much faster than classical computers. Learning about concepts like superposition and entanglement increased my interest in advanced computing and encouraged me to explore the field further.

Pros: Not overly theoretical/formal and hands-on with tons of Qiskit examples in Jupyter notebooks. Cons: Math and Python fundamentals should've been in a separate course. I knew those and had to skip each one individually to move on and still get the course completion certificate.

I have to watch it with 1.25 speed not to get booring, and it repeats everything 2-3 times… for ex: how to install qiskit in python, Anyway the qiskit version and page the course is about outdated and does not exists in this form. tha basics are ok.

Great course!!! Really enjoyed the simplicity of the explanations. Thanks to the Professor for keeping the course engaged throughout.

this course very nice ... faculty has explained every things in detail and with easy concepts timmings are good as we do not get bored... it does'nt inshort or fast everything it to be understood easily

It's very interesting and includes each and every topic in an explanatory manner. It's a little hard to understand for non-technical backgrounded candidates.

By Prabhudas Kamath K on 2/15/2026

Python is good for a beginer. Matrix concepts great!! But Quantum computing is very shabbily explained, looks like the tutor has taken certain aspects for granted. Eg. Whats a bit, Whats a Qubit, needs to be explained thoroughly with examples.

By Al Mercado on 1/20/2026

It's pretty thorough in the coding for qiskit and connecting it to a good python primer. I would have liked to see other QPU providers and not just IBM to run it because it changed to just simulators now. Also, a few classic CPU data algorithms to compare with the quantum algorithms would be good

By Vijay S on 12/27/2025

The bite-size modules, especially on the Python part, are explained well for a non-programmer and stated with care and good simplified explanations. Having so many modules is daunting at first but well worth perserving
