Course Description
Learn How To Create The Ideal Sports Nutrition Plan For Yourself Or Your Clients
Hi, I'm Alex Chrysovergis, strength and conditioning coach, nutrition consultant and self-defense instructor. I am the owner of “Streetwise Krav Maga”, a leading contact combat and fitness academy in Greece. I am also a fitness writer/contributor on some renowned fitness platforms like T-Nation dot com and SimpliFaster dot com.
This course will help you understand the sophisticated subject that is sports nutrition in a concise and structured way. By the end of it you will know exactly how to plan your diet in order to significantly enhance your health, athletic performance and body composition, whether you’re looking to gain muscle mass, lose fat or maintain your current weight. If you are a professional trainer you will be able to use these skills to offer nutritional guidance to your clients and help them achieve their goals more efficiently.
The course begins by covering the fundamentals of sports nutrition and gradually progresses into more elaborate topics, like the crucial role of hormones and neurotransmitters in human metabolism and body composition. The material is presented via a plethora of mediums like videos, articles and slides, and was gathered through years of academic and applied knowledge.
My purpose was to build a succinct, to-the-point lesson series that will simplify complex concepts and provide essential theoretical and practical foundation by concentrating on what really matters while filtering out unnecessary, stretched-out overexplaining. The truth is that we live in an age of information bombardment and are constantly overwhelmed by the abundance of choices and stimuli. Obviously, there is not enough time to keep up with everything, and this is why in my opinion, today more than ever, learning should be smart and time-efficient. With this objective in mind, this course was designed to be complete and thorough, but also laser-focused and information-dense. It will teach you everything you need to know without superfluous banter used just for the sake of filling more time. This is a course you will actually finish.

Just finished my NASM CNC course, so I used this one as a revise. The information provided is current, to the point and very well-structured. Alex is a wonderful lecturer and the course was helpful to me for the purpose I chose it, but I already had that knowledge and needed a refreshment. My only concern is that it's maybe somehow fast-paced or not that easy to understand at some points for a complete newbie to the nutrition science. I strongly suggest the addition of some infographics as well, to enhance the visual cognitive ability. Overall, I think that this is the best sport-oriented nutrition course in this platform, so Good Job Alex and I hope to see a training course from you also in the future!

I just recently competed in my first bikini competition for bodybuilding and this course allowed me to connect the dots on why I did what I did throughout my prep. Very informative, I planned to go through the class a second time in an effort to make some more information stick in my mind! Calculating fats was a bit of a struggle for me. The carbs and protein was easy but the fats is like a remainder of the carbs and proteins...I think that can be a explained a bit more clear and maybe a way in a quiz to calculate macros based upon an example would be helpful. But this class was really awesome! I truly enjoyed the information presented. Oh, one more thing, maybe a section on belly fat and keeping it in check.

I really enjoyed this course! I feel like it had all the content I need to plan my own nutrition plan and speak knowledgably to others about choices they might make. I enjoyed the style and the content vs quantity. I would have preferred it if some of the video was broken up more with slides and pictures. I recommend this course very much.

This was a well rounded course with clear information. Even if you aren't into sports nutrition specifically, this is a good course to take. I loved the questions at the end of each section, ensuring I learnt what was taught.

This is a very in-depth and well articulated course, this course exceeds all my expectations and I am in awe about how how much knowledge Alex has on this subject, you would have expected to pay a heavy premium in the thousands for a course like this. Well done Alex for gifting your knowledge to the world!

I have been struggling with weight loss for a few years now, and this year I managed to become consistent with my training, but haven't really lost weight because I didn't have proper nutrition. After finishing this course I believe I have all the necessary tools to create meal plans for myself and reach my goals, as I understand the principles of nutrition. The course is very comprehensive, yet easy to follow and I highly recommend it!

Most of the content up to some of the supplements wasn't new to me since I have done a lot of research on my own in the past, however the rest of the course was worth it. Whole course is well put together and covers all of the 'basics' well without going into the deep end regarding the science behind it.
