Not up-to-date information

I'm not too confident in the knowledge of the instructor. I've just begun the course and there are already a few things he got wrong (shadowing, constants).

Instructor knows his stuff and demonstrates the Rust language well. What is missing are quizzes, exercises and projects to practice what you're learning and apply it.

Good course, quite exhaustive. A couple sections could use a small update.

The course is short and crisp and covers all the necessary concepts needed to get started with Rust.

This course covered exactly what I wanted. The official online rust book is an excellent reference and covers all the fundamentals, but is difficult to sit down and read. This course covered most of the rust book with great examples at a good pace, and made the fundamentals of rust much easier to digest.

This guy knows his stuff. When you can tell the history of something, you know it inside out.

Inconsistent quality of videos (editor/audio quality varied), teacher included non-relevant errors in final video (e.g. errors due to spelling mistakes), and too much emphasis on common programming language features (flow control, number representation) and not enough about critical Rust-specific features like modules or its concurrency primitives (teacher even said concurrency is huge for Rust, which is why there's a borrow-checker, then spent 5 minutes on a single primitive (thread))
