Andrew received his degree in Music Education from Bob Jones University - a regionally accredited institution, and upon graduating with honors, began touring with a Christian band. He has been teaching music for over nine years, and loves being able to share music with thousands of people across the globe through both teaching and performing. 

Andrew's musical experiences began in the 7th grade when he taught himself how to play trumpet. In high school, he competed and placed in several state-wide trumpet, voice, and music theory competitions, and band and choir competitions were the highlight of his school year. Through all of this, the fretted instrument family (ukulele, guitar, dulcimer, etc.) quickly became his primary instruments.

I really love that hes taking the time to teach the theory behind the music. I finally understand what a chord actually is, which I think is very helpful.

I already had most of the knowledge of chords and basics of ukulele before taking this course. I expected more on 3 finger chords and how to switch chords faster.
The knowledge in this course is great for a complete beginner without any prior knowledge.
