The Ultimate Guide To Building A Viral Website Like Buzzfeed (Udemy.com)

I have 2 major issues with the course, and may soon apply for a refund if the issues remain unresolved: (1) I asked the instructor for a few clarifications but he hasn't bothered to respond, which is worrisome because the course may already have become outdated. (2) A few subsections of the course have an audio problem (no audio) which I pointed out to Udemy, but Udemy hasn't fixed the problem yet.

It is well put together. The instructor's tone of voice is good. Though I know a few things before the course, I still learn a few things along the way. I am glad I have access to the video so that I can refer to it whenever I feel confused. Thanks.

Starts great, but soon becomes repetitive - you don't have to explain me what reddit is in every video - but still pretty good guidelines. Would have gotten much higher rating from me if they had gone more in detail on how to create slideshows or quizzes in wordpress. For $15 in today's age of information, this doesn't feel like I got my money's worth. I might have got it if I was an absolute beginner, but I had some basic knowledge, so I think most stuff I learnt could've been found on Youtube

There's many good points in this course and even tho my interest isn't exactly the type of page like Buzzfeed, I can still use most of the methods in my site. On the other hand, it was kinda poorly organized. Couple things came up through out the course many times over and over again (like explanation of how reddit works) and it didn't feel like very well planned course. Couple videos were basically exactly the same thing, just said a little differently. But I did get a lot out of it and I think it is a good course specially for people needing information starting from how to get the domain, hosting and such to the page. There's things for people already knowing those things, but most value goes definitely for people looking to start their first page.

Even though my sites are not for entertainment that this course was meant for, I can still apply the principles to my situation. However, there's no warning about copyright which is a massive topic that anyone using images on the web needs to be aware of.

I already knew a lot of the information on this course, and learned some new ones too, the best thing is the organisation and the order to keep you on track when creating your viral site. Great Value for money. you deserve every penny that I paid for. Take Care and have a lovely Christmas.

Does exactly what it promisses: this course gives everything you need to start this adventure. Also it is surprisingly better and better as the courses progresses, contrary to so many courses where the second half is sub-par. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone interested.

Excellent course! Daniel shows lot's of great examples on how to create content for a viral website and where to source ideas from. Gives the student lot's of creative ideas to work from and how to take them forward. A very clear and straight to the point course with great examples, look forward to trying them out! Thank you.

There's a lot of really great information in this course and I love that the instructor practices what he preaches! It would be even better if there was a break down of average money made per month with each monetization method and more details re: number of posts recommended to launch with (before promoting traffic), how frequently updates should be made, etc. Certainly great value for $!

Clear precise instructions. Appreciate the delivery. The steps are all practical and useful. In the monetization strategy I would have loved a bit more depth and some of the slides were a bit monotonous. Overall a good course to have to learn the trricks of creating a viral site.
