Unfortunately, this course was not what I expected. I signed up hoping to learn the basic technique for playing Tibetan singing bowls, but the content felt very limited and surface-level. It's extremely short, and much of the material simply points you to the instructor’s external website. Rather than being a complete introduction, it feels more like a teaser or marketing funnel for his paid course on bellsofbliss.com. While I understand the desire to promote one’s own products, it was disappointing to feel like this course was more about selling bowls and upselling than genuinely teaching. I would recommend this only if you're curious about the instructor's style, but not if you're looking for practical learning or hands-on instruction.

So much knowledge about bowls wow! I love that I now have resources to go to! Have to share... when I bought my first Himalayan bowl I met Mitch Nur at that location, and he asked me to play my bowl for him, we connected instantly and he introduced me to two other bowls in his personal collection that he wanted my bowl to play with LOL, they were so wonderful together he said he would let them go home with me, I was like what? So not only did I leave with an amazing new 3 bowl set, but I also took a make your own Porotiti class and received a sound bath session from him. Now I have met you, just amazing _/\_ Nmaste

First, I love that this course is free. It makes me feel that the instructor Guy, is more about spreading knowledge and love, rather than making money, which I love. I have just purchased my first Udemy course in singing bowls and as part of the course, I had to purchase a set of 7 singing bowls. I wish I had seen this free course before I bought the bowls, as there is so much knowledge in this course that would have helped me. They have not arrived yet, but I am excited to see and hear them! I am also excited to learn more from this course as I have only completed part 8 so far! Tara M

Guy has presented a lot of very interesting information that wasn’t included in other sound healing courses I’ve taken. His personal journey is quite compelling and inspiring for those of us who have experienced personal trauma and are recovering through sound healing and other wholistic modalities. I appreciate his generosity in offering valuable knowledge at no charge and hope to learn more from other courses he teaches here.

I couldnt expect more from this course Some people might found it very theory based but It does open eyes into all the info about singing bowl and also to identify " fake gurus" trying to sell their bowls I wish I could know about this course sooner so I could make wiser choices in buying a good singing bowls for myself My last words are thank you and I am looking forward to your other courses !

An amazing and highly informative course on Singing Bowls! Anyone interested in sound healing should review this course to expand their knowledge, especially while it's free! After reading many articles, taking another paid Udemy course and combing through many other sources with conflicting claims and dubious explanations, I finally found this gem! It's a deeply researched, well explained and concise account on the art of singing bowls. Most importantly, it opened my eyes to silly myths and usual marketing tricks of the industry, and saved me from buying a pricey set of 7 bowls. He also explains how to determine if the bowl is authentic antique or just a contemporary knock-off, and how much you should pay for it! What's also very interesting and rare, is that he approaches sound therapy not only from the spiritual point of view, with a highly intuitive and loving connection to his instruments, but also delves into the physics of the sound and the science, like binaural and monaural beats, different brain waves (alpha, theta, delta, etc). Also, each human being is unique. Sound healing is a highly intuitive art and should be customized to each individual, based on who they are, what they need and what vibrations or bowls sing to them personally, not some learned set of 7 notes played over and over again.
