This course has been helpful to force me to memorize the core fundamentals since the order of the questions change everytime you retake it. Also the review afterwards telling you why you were wrong and why the answer is correct is also helpful.

By Jason Peek on 7/26/2021

Great Course! was very easy to follow. Completing the course, reviewing the notes I took, and also getting the total seminar practice tests led to me passing the 1001 on my first attempt with ease. I cant recommend this course any higher

By Chris Hyde on 3/12/2021

A lot of the questions are vague, which apparently mirrors the exam, so that's fine. What isn't useful is explanations of those answers. Some of the explanations given don't make any sense in the context of the other answers available in the question. A lot of the explanations are so vague and/or contradictorythat it has the same educational value as writing nothing at all. It's a real shame because most of it is fine, but on the really tricky questions - the ones obviously designed to confuse and obfuscate - which is where clarity is most needed, it often completely fails to explain the logic of the question or why an answer is right, so there ends up being no coherent outcome and you can't learn anything at all from it. A far cry from the purpose of a practice exam

By Alisha Yabczanka on 2/11/2021

The questions presented in the practice test were at the same level as the actual exam. I was able to review the information I answered incorrectly before taking the CompTIA A+ Core 1 exam, which I passed. I will absolutely look for this series in Core 2 while preparing to finish this certification. Thank you so much for this resource!

By Brian Schaeffer on 9/22/2020

Can't say I didn't learn something from taking these exams but I do feel that all three exams were asking fairly similar questions. Would've been nice to have completely different questions on all three. I do appreciate being able to have these as a tool for my studying. Thank you!

By Christopher Cipriano on 6/5/2020

There are questions about DDR even though Mike Meyer's Exam Guide tells you that CompTia 1001 includes only DDR2,DDR3 and DDR4. There are also questions about ram ratings and IP address and subnet classes which are not discussed in the book. I found the practice exams very detailed and helpful but I am about to go for my exam and I am not sure whether the book was missing some information or these practice tests just contained particularly difficult questions. Strange since they were both written by Mike. I am satisfied with the product overall.

By Amanda Gillock on 5/5/2020

If you do not have the book from Meyers that comes with Total Tester this is a great place to try out questions. However, if you do already have access to total tester then this is a waste of you money because it is using the same testing bank and you will not be getting anything new.

By Alex Vasquez on 12/5/2019

It's perfect for putting on the pressure of being timed and getting into the mindset of thinking about the technology in a troubleshooting mindset, the only issue I have is that there were a few questions that I don't remember having anything to do with the objectives but for the most part it is useful in helping you assess where you need improvement which is the point of practice exams. Thank you Total Seminars!

Although there could have been fewer typos, the overall content quality is great. I bought this around the whole 4th of July promo time, so I got a good bang for the few bucks I put into it. Moreover, Mike Meyers & his team left their touch of geeky humor in their explanations of the answers. That should keep one's chuckles on during the studies.

By Eric Laferriere on 6/22/2019

Between all practice test, you can expect 50% will be on the exam in some form or another. The instructor provides excellent explanations for the answers. However there is still a lack of performance network technologies questions, and performance network troubleshooting questions which are essential covering in my case 1/3 of the exam. This is not addressed in his main course either. He does provide very good explanations with regard to each answer, but it will be helpful to memorize constants with regard to numbers and acronyms in addition to this from his main course. Combine the main course, notes of the aforementioned, and doing and reviewing these 3 practice tests before the exam, your odds of passing go from 25-33% to 60-75% (depending on your comprehension). With those missing performance network tech questions and performance network troubleshooting questions, if they were included, your odds of passing would be between 75-95% (once again depending on your comprehension), but you would need at least 40 of the network performance type questions to achieve this and you would then receive 5 stars for any A+ course you added it too. Do add my 2 exam questions mentioned in main course .
