There was some information that was helpful, but a majority of the information turned out to be out of date. Of my attempts before finally passing the CompTIA A+ Core 2 certification exam, I actually scored lower than my first attempt; on my first attempt, I did not pass with a 675 out of 900. After going through Total Seminars lectures and materials and retaking the exam, I did not pass again with a 654 out of 900 (I actually did worse.) They need to update their materials.

love it, would appreciate more explanations for wrong answers to some of the questions! otherwise, this is great and love the UI, being able to go back after completing a test and review marked Qs, incorrect, etc. I love the questions being displayed one at a time just like on the real exam!

Some of the questions I think are poorly worded. For example, a tech was using the terminal command line for something and the question was what steps to take before moving on to do the same thing to another computer (select two). The two answers you marked as correct are the same step [closing the terminal] done two different ways, not two different steps (as the wording of the question implies).

The last test (Practice Test 3) had plenty of repeat questions from the prior tests, so it came across as kind of lazy. The questions should of been more challenging, for example, command lines including switches, troubleshooting, what utilities to use and when and less about how to interact with customers. Overall, okay enough.

Compared to the 1001 practice tests, these were a bit of a let down. There were some questions that were obviously recycled from a previous version of the 1001 that are no longer part of exam objectives and very dated (question on iOS 5.) also unlike the 1001 each test is not unique. There are quite a few questions that are copy/pasted from the other 2 tests. Feels a bit like it was rushed. Still, I passed my 1002, but these were a letdown compared to the courses and the 1001 practice test

Would have left 5 stars, but there aren't enough questions to fill all 3 tests without a noticeable amount of question repeats. I didn't notice any repeated questions between tests 1 & 2, but I did questions from tests 1 & 2 on test 3. I could be wrong, but I'm assume the questions are randomized between the tests, and there aren't enough questions to make the tests unique.

All Mikes courses are great. Would recommend the Comptia a+ 1001 & 1002 courses and pre-tests (The only ones I have done so far). He really knows his stuff. Presents it very well in a way that is easy to understand and he has a good sense of humour. The jokes help keep you engaged or at least me anyway

The questions don't match up with with the training videos. Certain sections of training will be presented with like so DRM is this ____ then you get to the question which is not at all what was described as in the training video. Also there are quite a few misspelled words on the quiz. It's hard to take to take this serious "A nework administrator" 1002 practice test 2.
By Timothy MacDowall on 3/20/2020
I enjoy the way the questions are being asked so I know how they can be worded on the exam. This course resembles the Comptia A+ 1001 method on how they word the questions. It has help me so much for Part 2 of this certification.
By Jacob Meyer on 7/26/2019
These tests aren't useless, but it is entirely evident, as already pointed out by other reviewers, that the questions are largely imported from practice tests for earlier-generation exams. Windows 7 is the major focus. Windows Vista is also referenced several times. I can recall Windows 10, the most relevant current-generation OS, being referenced a single time, and Windows 8/8.1 not at all. There are questions pertaining to outdated applications and terminology besides, and even one that asks about a feature introduced in iOS 5. These questions have lost or are losing their relevance to the current iteration of the A+ exam. I mostly appreciate the effort ORIGINALLY put into designing the tests (outside of some spelling errors and vague or ambiguous questions). But labeling them as specifically 220-1002 practice tests is inaccurate, and charging money for them with such labels is downright unscrupulous.
