Course Description

Welcome to the TOTAL: CompTIA CySA+ (CS0-002) Practice Tests. from Total Seminars.

NOTE: CompTIA originally released this certification as CSA+. They had copyright issues and had to change the acronym to CySA+. It is the same certification and the same course.

Please note the CS0-002 exam has been retired. A new course covering the CS0-003 exam will be released soon.

Are you ready to pass the CompTIA CySA+ Certification exam? Find out by testing yourself with this new offering on Udemy. Each of the three 50y question practice tests in this set provide an entire exam’s worth of questions, enabling you to confirm your mastery of the topics and providing you with the confidence you’ll need to take your CompTIA CySA+ Certification exam.

The tests in this set are timed, so you’ll know when you’re taking more time than the official test allows, and at the end of the test you’ll receive a personal breakdown of the questions you answered correctly and incorrectly to improve your knowledge and make you more prepared to pass the actual CompTIA exam.

In this practice test set, we’ll cover all the topics included in Cybersecurity Analyst CySA+ CS0-002 exam objectives:

Threat and Vulnerability Management - 22%

Software and Systems Security - 18%

Security Operations and Monitoring - 25%

Incident Response - 22%

Compliance and Assessment - 13%

Make sure you are ready to pass the CySA+ exam by using these practice tests, written to mimic the kinds of questions you will see on the CompTIA exam.

Practice test questions are drawn from the McGraw-Hill CompTIA CySA+ Cybersecurity Analyst All-in-One Exam Guide, Second Edition (with permission from the publisher).

Fantastic course that prepared me well for the CySA+. The study guide was really helpful as well. Highly recommend this course and others by Jason Dion in general. I'll be using them to pass my CISSP soon enough.

By Alex Ursuleac on 7/12/2023

Some questions are hard to understand, thus making it difficult to choose an answer. Some of them are twisted and complex, however that gives you a good exposure to various types of thinking and logic. Some questions are linked with the US regulations or characteristics, which I think is wrong, as Cybersecurity is not limited to just USA, therefore the questions and answers should be applicable worldwide. Overall good practice, as I am using questions from different vendors and lecturers, obviously everyone have their own model of logic.

By Charles Duoto on 7/8/2023

I used these as an additional practice exam resource for my CompTIA CySA+ exam and found them to be comparable to the actual types of questions you might face when at the testing center. I was actually preparing for the CS1-003 beta version of the exam, which I did pass.

By John Stover on 10/20/2020

I have my doubts about how similar these questions will be in style to the actual CompTIA exam but the breadth of coverage still helps round out knowledge. Based on past experience a lot of CompTIA questions seem purposely tricky or misleading, or leave out contextual information to force you to logic through problems. I think this test does not prepare people in that aspect. However, as a tool for identifying weak areas and shoring up knowledge I am quite satisfied with the tests.

By William Provost on 5/9/2020

Overall helpful questions for review, but having taken and passed several CompTIA certs, I have to wonder if these are truly as hard as the test actually will be. Seems a bit easier/more straight-forward than your general CompTIA fare.

By Carl H Bolling on 2/26/2019

I passed today 814/900 or 90.44% These questions are not bad, just not enough of them. What they are good at is they have actual logs and outputs to look at. They are not worded like the actual test, and you shouldn't expect that, but they do make you think. What would make them better is if they targeted the exam objectives more. They seemed a little esoteric. Again, not bad, they make you think, but they don't track to the objective well. And there could be more of them, LOTS more. Still, the course and these questions are a good arrow to have in your quiver. Good luck!

Good test questions that test your knowledge from the 4 domains. Could use some more log analysis questions to be even better. I got over 85% in this practice exams, and passed with 92% on the real exam. Also feedback to the questions i left in the Q&A of this course were very fast.

By Kevin Allen on 9/6/2018

These were two really good practice tests that covered all the necessary areas and challenged your reasoning skills in scenarios. There were two or three questions that had answers which could be right depending on the business culture and leadership personalities. Question 34 on exam 2 was the only one I found that was incorrect. Syslog servers communicate over UDP port 514, which was missing from the available choices. TCP port 514 was listed as being correct so this is why I could not give it five stars.

By Tyrone V on 8/31/2018

I would definitely recommend these questions as an additional study tool. I personally believe that most of the actual exam questions were earlier (with the exception of the log questions and simulations), however, everyone learns differently. Like others, I believe that one shouldn't rely on only one source. These test questions are worth the money and time invested.

By Westley Butrum on 5/29/2018

I took my CySA+ exam 26th of April and passed. The study materials I used for this test, in order, were: - Mr. Jason Dion's courses AND practice tests here on Udemy - Mr. Joseph Holbrooks courses here on Udemy - Mr. Brent Chapman's courses here on Udemy - The totalseminars practice tests - 1st domain of CompTIA's CySA+ certmaster (don't follow my lead on this, I recommend doing the full certmaster) I did buy Mr. Brent Chapman's book and the Sybex books, but I did NOT use them. I learn best listening and seeing. You'll have more of an advantage if you have experience with some of the tools mentioned, but if you don't have any experience with these tools, all of the resources I've mentioned above will help you succeed and pass the test. Please pay close attention to the performance based questions. I spent a lot of time on the first performance based question after noticing a small detail that impacted my answer, so the rest of the performance based questions I analyzed thoroughly. Anyway, I hope this review helps some of you and good luck!!
