Wording is very odd sometimes; there are some topics that are expressed multiple times in various questions; some questions are not very challenging and either give very obvious incorrect answers or don't really challenge you well enough where finding the wrong answer is easier than understanding and finding the right answer. Buying Jason Dion's practice tests would be more worthwhile.

IT WAS A GOOD COURSE AND IT DID GIVE ME A LIGHT ON HOW THE TECHNOLOGY WORKS IN A NEW IT INDUSTRIES I WILL LIKE TO GET MORE IN THE SERVER AND SECURITY FINAL I WANT TO KNOW HOW IM GOING TO GET CERTIFICAT MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS PCYSITHOLE@GMAIL.COM IF YOU CAN SEND IT I WILL HIGHLY APPRECIATED

Excellent practice tests. I always appreciate it when practice tests not only explain the right answer, but why all the others are wrong. Especially on those questions where there is like 2 obvious wrong answers, but 2 other answers that sound like either could be right.

Mike's course was excellent. Especially for a guy with IT background but not in networking. However, the test left me a little disappointed. I scored 80 and 83% on the last two (not the required 85% score but close). To gauge my readiness for the cert exam I bought a study bundle from CompTIA that included a practice test. And scored 43%. The CompTIA test included subjects (about 30% of test) not in Mike's course (or I missed them). And for the 70% common subject matter the CompTIA test questions approached the subject matter a little differently than the Udemy tests. CompTIA's questions seemed highly based upon completing their self study bundle (which I didn't attempt since I completed Mike's course). So it's obvious I'm not ready the cert exam. And after a couple months studying Mike's material I'm not going use more months completing the CompTIA study bundle. So sadly this ends my attempt at obtaining the Network+ certification. But I still take away a great deal of knowledge from Mike's course. If I could pass along something to Mike (who's part of the CompTIA consortium). I request CompTIA move away from closed book exams, which I think are a relic of the past. I see no value in someone like me (with no practical networking experience) trying to memorize cable speeds / lengths, cable connectors, DSN records, and a litany of other details that I would readily have access to in a real job (or could find out with a quick internet search). IMO this does not test my knowledge and knowledge application (which I think should be the goal of the test) just my rote memory. Give test subjects a 1 page sheet of these details then test their ability to understand and apply them. If they don't comprehend the subjects, they won't complete the test on time (even given the page of details). I have a few other certifications, only one of the exams was closed book. Thanks

Was semi-similar to the Comptia exam. Exam had more clearly defined questions and no ridiculous answers like this test has. Comptia throw me for a huge curve ball with diagrams of computers you had to click on and change information (for instance you would have to set the IP address via CMD, do ping and tracert etc) Overall not great but an alright tool. If you're getting less than 70ish on these you're not ready for comptia.

Suppose you're the kind of person that needs to know the "How it's Made," the actual history and full-on visual aid experience. This is the instructor to follow. This is not one of those instructors where just turning it on and listening to the audio is good enough. You will actually need to watch it to get the full-on experience he is trying to teach you. I found the Quiz questions weren't as challenging as another instructor, but it was pretty similar to the Exam. Thank you for teaching this course.

Used Mike Meyer's test before the Security+ and felt that it is a good representation of the style of the CompTIA test so here I am again for the Network+. I feel that that about 10% of the content on these tests aren't testable under the current Network+ objectives "Such as 1000BaseCx (Not part of an objective)". I am still giving 5 stars due to the fact that these tests are one of the two on Udemy that are actually beneficial.

It really pays off if you were really paying attention on the lectures of the course! I found the explanations clear with a solid oversight. Would have loved some performance based questions. Thanks a lot and I really recommend !!

Many typos, grammar errors, and occasionally an explanation that doesn't quite match the correct answer. There was a question/answer on 1000Base fiber that contradicted what the Network+ book says. Multiple questions on early Ethernet, which are not mentioned in the CompTIA Exam objectives. One of the questions actually shows the answer/explanation as a selectable answer, so something is coded wrong. Practice exams should be perfectly composed and not include stuff we don't need to know. Please get a proofreader, we're paying for this stuff. Still, it was good practice.

Overall the Practice Tests are extremely helpful and helped me gauge how prepared I am for the exam more than any other resource I had tried. I would recommend this to anyone looking to pursue the Network+ certification. My only criticism of the product is there are quite a few typos that I had noticed, perhaps about 20. Most of them, once recognized, were easily deciphered to what they were intending to communicate, but about 2-3 typos did cause me to answer their questions incorrectly. Fortunately these tests can be retaken at any time and the test scores are only a rough estimate of how prepared you are for the exam.
