TOTAL: CompTIA Security+ Cert. (SY0-701) Practice Tests (Udemy.com)

All domains adequately covered and in-depth explanations of questions and answers gives great understanding, it makes exams preparation very easy and builds confidence. This is a must have for anyone preparing for the Security+ exams.

Where do I begin... Lets start with the Cons: 1. These questions were pretty difficult for a novice like myself. Especially when there is no mention what-so-ever on some of the terms mentioned in DION's training after a an F2 word search on the study guide. (Ex XMAS scan) 2. I was unaware, before the exam, that there would be the requirement to choose more than one option on several of the questions. 3. A radio button to go back to the skipped questions would have been beneficial for the sake of time loss. Scrolling did not help with time. The Pro's 1. The option to study missed questions and the explanations of those in correct answers are invaluable. 2. All the knowledge that was put in these practice exams were thought provoking to study more. And after extensive research on each the topics, I'm sure to have success.

Overall, completing this course has not only prepared me for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam but has also boosted my confidence and proficiency in cybersecurity practices. I feel more competent and ready to tackle the challenges of the cybersecurity field. The rigorous training and comprehensive content have equipped me with a solid foundation to build upon as I advance in my career.

Really helps in identifying which test objectives I need to brush up on, at the same time, validating what I already know. Would definitely recommend to anyone about to take the 501 exam. Use the tests as a tool to see what you need to study up on.

By using this and the course I was able to pass my sec+ with a score of 848 out of 900. The only thing that I think would be more helpful is instead of just showing you the broad category that you missed the questions on it gives you the specific topic or a suggestion for something else to study. Like oh you had an issue with the ports, why not study this and watch X video on the udemy course.

These practice exams serve as a nice refresher to concepts and terms I've come to understand during my studies for Sec+. My only criticism would be the overall simplistic composition of the questions themselves; I felt as if the questions lacked details involving real-world scenarios and troubleshooting, more so keeping a closer approach to general knowledge of the study material. If these practice exams do closely compare to the actual exam, than I can expect just that.

It let me know what I needed to work on and what I had pretty much down. I took the first test as a litmus and then used the next ones to gauge how ready I was. Passed first try!

There are many typos in many questions, with question marks in place of apostrophes and periods making it difficult to read. There are also many periods missing in multiple questions so a sentence will end with a word, but there will be no space and the start of the next sentence is combined with that last word. example "You are tasked with hardening the OS in your systemWhich of the following choices are best?" systemWhich is combined making sentences hard to read and throws off my studying.

I haven't taken the SYO-501 SEC+ exam yet, but after attempting each practice exam, I am feeling more comfortable taking the exam. Mike & Total Seminars Reps have created a resourceful bank of 267 questions to practice from. I found great value at the conclusion of each exam reviewing answers as they were partitioned per subject and provided thorough explanations on what made the specific answers correct.

The questions are alot harder than many of the other practice test that I've seen around and the explanations for answers are pretty clear and easy to follow along. I take the test soon so hopefully I pass!
