Tutorials for AppleScript (Udemy.com)

There are a lot of negatives. Voice and echo chambers make it impossible to understand the instructor. It started the course in a rather odd place, where it was necessary to set up Voice Control; not doing so would give an error code(244.) I will not elaborate on all the other issues that turned me completely off when learning Apple Script. I am asking for a credit for the cost of this course as I needed help to get past the introduction. I am hoping Udemy has an alternate class of Apple Script.

The interpreter's accent makes it difficult to follow. The content is otherwise helpful as long as you google to augment what is being demonstrated.

I speak Russian and even I can barely understand the narrator, plus it's only natural to use English localization in the software you use to demonstrate code samples for a course in English. After spending some time developing small script for commercial usage, I understood, that author of this course has a very poor knovelege in subject.

The course is dated regarding the app store and iTunes but the information is still good and is very relevant useful to me.

At the begining the course looks a little bit basic but once you get the whole picture it gets better and better. Of course, there is a lot of things you can do with AS and not all can be explained in just one course. I like it very much the part dedicated to Cocoa, Xcode and how to pack and distribute the applications. Russian accent is a little bit hard at the initial but its ok.

Awful. The instructors are lovely people, but this course isn't what I was expecting. I apologize to the instructors: they've spent so much time and effort, but this course isn't what I was advertised, and I'm having difficult to match it to US standards as well as understanding the material.

It was more of a beginners tutorial on AppleScript. Would like to see more in-depth programming in AppleScript like how to read data from a file. I like she taught some AppleScript with x-code and she showed a little about combining terminal commands in AppleScript.

some text in Russian and some of the features are old and don't work. Didn't want to know about photoshop or office just more applescript.

I think the topics were well structured and presented by Nikolay. The lessons gave a good overview of the AppleScript syntax and some connected usecases. The pace was on point. I highly recommend that course for everyone, trying to get started with AppleScript. Thank you for a great course! As a sidenote: I would have loved to see some more complete and in-depth scripts.
