One of the best UE4 courses I've completed on Udemy, this course is very well put together with everything thoroughly explained & is easy to complete/understand regardless of skill level, also the tutor is responsive in the Q&A section of the course.

This course does a good job of covering the basics. The instructor is great. I (unknowingly) asked a complex question, and they essentially made a mini tutorial in order to answer it. Given the janky nature of Unreal's physic engine; it would however be helpful if the pinball tutorial had more on how to tune the ball movement, hit reactions, etc.

The instructor is very clearly an expert in working with UE4 and clearly explains concepts throughout the course.I did find myself having to go do supplementary research during some lessons but this is just due to how massive UE4 is and how many moving parts it has. The course can't possibly cover every little facet of it so if there is something that wasn't covered in quite the depth you'd like then you must do further research on your own. I viewed it as good practice to have to do this as you'll have to anyways once outside the confines of the course. If I really couldn't figure something out I could come back here and ask (and I did a few times).I came to this course with a background in web and applications programming but had never touched a game engine or done any manner of game dev. By the end of the course, where the editor felt completely foreign at the beginning, I now feel comfortable working within it and feel as if I have a solid handle on all of the basics required to further my learning and make something.

The instructor knew what he was doing and was able to quickly and immediately figure out solutions to problems, however, this is not the case for everyone, he could have slowed down a bit and made a few mistakes and showed how to debug any problems if they did arise. Otherwise a really good course.

Pros: Tutor knows what he's doing, pleasent voice, liked the archviz and the survival game projects, learnt a lotCons: This is really not a beginner's course, multiple times the tutor doesn't explain things and there were really frustrating moments for meStill Im glad this course is out there. Would recommend it for more advanced Unreal Developers.

I got to learn much about unreal engine but the thing is, In this course when something new is introduced then the instructor doesn't tell much about it and just keeps on completing the course and it should be more focused on interacting videos like ( if we have to achieve this what should we do then ? ).

Very well done course with a ton of useful tools and tips for BP development.

lots of advanced material in here, might want to try a different course first if this is your first jump into unreal engine.

This course was fantastic! However, the version of Unreal Engine 4 in this series is very out of date, so some extra googling was involved in getting everything working as shown. Christopher was fantastic! He was funny, smart, direct, and fast-paced. I would recommend this course to someone who already has some prior knowledge of Unreal Engine 4, due to the fast-paced nature of each video. I have worked in Unreal Engine 4 for many years now and wanted to sharpen my game development skills, and this series helped me immensely! Plus, this series was the perfect length with each video going no longer than 20 minutes to fit my work schedule. Overall, this was a great learning experience, and I feel more confident in my Unreal Engine 4 skills now.

This was an unbelievably cool course! The work and the detailed explanations which were provided helped me understand the process so much. I had so much fun, studying and practicing the techniques which were capitalized upon. The instructor didn't hold my hand or patronize, he simply provided the information quickly and succinctly. My mind was blown, and I can't wait to use the information provided in my own projects.

Great course where you'll learn a lot. Only downside is you'll have to look up stuff he mentions but doesn't explain.I still recommend it though.

Sharing many very useful shortcuts, teaching basics in an understandable way and sharing experience alongside the introduction ?
