Very helpful for any looking to making a game as a starter. Great tips. Really breaks down the basics clearly. Glad I participated as a student.

This course was fantastic! However, it has several major issues. First of all, many resources that are said to be provided aren't (the hotkey cheat sheet and the final version of the flying project). Secondly, several portions of the flying project are outright skipped. These include the sections involving creating the UI/HUD and how to ensure a sound effect ends when you desire. Although other minor issues were discovered, these were only caused by using a newer version of Unreal. Therefore, I can't fault the instructor for that.

I was very impressed with the abilities of the Unreal 5 engine. The sound quality of the instructor is a little off on some areas but for the most part I found the information easy to understand and follow along with. I am a novice when using the new program codes as the last time i did any programming it was on a commodore 64 in ms-dos so I have a lot to catch up on. Thanks for taking the time to produce the course I find it very helpful

The quiz questions were not in the video unless i missed em? Actually like 2 were that I remember. Kind of fast but I can pause as I go

Fantastic, but the sound levels and use of 2 different teachers really hurt the overall experience of the course. Section 7 sort of goes off the rails and forgets to actually run through the HUD creation for the points. I still don't know how to call and print the Score for that tutorial. Resources does not include the final project in order to see what they've done. Overall a good introduction to a very macro level of Unreal 5, with an emphasis on materials, level design and some blueprints.

So far so good, explanations clear and precise. However please make sure you keep one person to make the tutorial. It's a been painfull to switch from one guy voice to another in the middle of the course, especially when the speed of the speech is very different. Also and most importantly from one chapter to another, we're on a different project (and not showing from scratch if it's a new level ? a new project ? ) In my opinion one or the other should have done the tutorial, not switching and let the student adapt and feel like we're watching a complete different tutorial when the next video plays..

This was my first course on udemy. First of all this was a useful course, it was a good refresher for me. But after being 10hrs deep into another course I can say the production quality of this course is pretty average/bad, audio glitches, feel like it was recorded in one sitting, sometimes explanations are inaccurate and there are fillers/downtimes especially towards the end.

Ctrl left click brings up rotational widget, but I cant seem to interact with it at all , it will move with me around map, but can not click on the widget and have any effect what so ever, overall Im quite pleased with the course, I was in construction by trade but have always loved building models for game assets, maybe Ill get good enough to make my own indie game , lol
