It is a good course and I have learnt alot from it. I have only given it 4 stars due to the style of the course, I would have like to done the scripting alongside the tutor to learn the scripts as I go, rather than dumping them in the project and then watching a video on what they do. However due to the complexity and length of some of the scripts, I do understand why it was this way, it would have probably taken weeks or months to complete this course. Also there is a bit of jiggery pokery you have to do if using the most up-to-date unity engine as this one has been done in an early version where TMPro was not a feature and you either have to use text or chane the scripts/links to tmp. Overall though a very good course, especially if you have created already the card previous card game and you do learn quite a bit.

Instructor Bio

I am a Unity3d and C# developer with about 2,5 years of experience in game development. I also have a scientific background. I got a Ph.D. in Theoretical Mechanics in 2014, but then decided to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a game developer. I`m mostly interested in making 2D games. In my opinion, a perfect game should have some tactical or puzzle element to it.

Over the last couple of years I`ve also worked as an instructor and created several courses on game development. Some of the topics of my courses are: making a 2048 game, building quiz apps, creating a simple virtual pet game, animating 2d characters, building an in-game character customization system.

I`m always willing to experiment and work on some interesting and challenging game mechanics.
