Course Description

Welcome to the course.
This course is about how to build a search engine friendly website or application using Vue.js with Nuxt.js (Updated for Nuxt v2).
We'll have search engine friendly features and improved perfomarnce by using Nuxt.js which is a Vue framework.
This is because Nuxt pre-renders the code and only delivers mostly the things required on the client side, which is the browser.
The other major part of the course is Firebase. We'll use it as the database for this course.
We'll be learning how to structure the database, it's security rules, file storage and of course queries to work with data.
So, this course is also a good primer on Firebase that will help you learn simple to reasonably complex Firebase queries.

This is a course where you would learn by building an app.
We'll build a simple ecommerce app with product and user management and role based access.
Then there is a product catalog and shopping cart on the front end.
At the end of the course you'll have a working app boiler plate that you could use for your own projects.

This is a jump-start course. So, it's about getting you up and running quickly. And it's not about long and winding explanation of everything.
We'll just do some work and then look at the result so that we learn by doing.
At the end of the course you'll receive the source code of the app we built.

The course content is well thought out and a great coding time saver. Some of it is dated now. As an example, Bulma is an option of the Nuxt install and there is a Nuxt version of vee-validate. About halfway through.

This course is the best Udemy course I've taken on Nuxt.js. It is up-to-date(as of 1/20/19) and so extremely thorough that I have been launched into a confident position to build what I need for my company.

It covered things that other courses didn't like DOM manipulation with the returned data, modules, localStorage for items not persisted to a Database and many more.

The instructor is very knowledgeable and responsive.

What would've made this course even better, is if it had a screencast for deployment to a production server on the web and fixes for a few minor bugs.

Perfect match for me! So far it's been Great. Other courses are either too basic, or advanced and specific. This is hitting the sweet spot ito pacing and relevance. However, the CLI didn't produce exact same project structure with no eslint rc file. I think the CLI has been updated.

Was great but somethings didn't work, linter stuff for example. Could type and talk a bit faster and clearer. Could provide to all lectures the updated files, with the new code. A typed transcript would be nice too, the autogenerated is not of good quality.

Tons of great knowledge on how to build a store/shopping cart. Unfortunately, there are several long pauses without any accompanying audio that left me wondering if the video had inadvertently stopped playing.
