Instructor Details

Kevin Brown

I have been in the technology field for more than 20 years. Ihave been a high performing Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) since 2000 and a Cisco Certified Systems Instructor since 2006. Ibegan my career in telecommunications more than 20 years ago. Since then I have worked as a Systems Admin, Network Admin, System integrator, Solutions Architect, and CTO. My courses are not presentations that rely on slides to explain concepts. My goal is to demonstrate every concept covered, instead ofusingslides that cover theory, we will use the interface to configure every setting that is discussed. In my view, if you do not know how to complete a task that a course covered, that course was not beneficial. I will make sure that you know how to complete each task and the various configurations for those tasks.

This is a very thorough and precise course. From setting up your lab to a step by step of roles and features of preparing someone to Administer Windows Server 2016+. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a refresher or someone that wants to learn all the in's and outs of Windows Server. Kevin has always done a phenomenal job of taking it step by step and breaking it down to understand how things work and why they work the way they do. Although I am not scheduled to take the Microsoft 70-740 I feel confident that this course would help those that are seeking to pass the exam. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge!

A lot of good stuff in this course, the only thing that can throw you off a little bit is that the courses are not comprehensive. If he does something in one section prior, he has not done that same thing in further sections. Filmed separately but it can be bothersome. Some of the names he has for Workstations, Severs, OUs are not consistent throughout.
