This is a very good introduction to JavaScript, specially for people who already know another language and want to learn JavaScript. My goal to learn JavaScript is to make some apps. The teacher is really good concerning speed and content. I want to learn with him again. Thanks, teacher for a really good lesson.

I have used Javascript in the past, but it's been a long time. This was a great brushup to remind me of how the language works. I really enjoy John's style of teaching, he's easy to follow, and I'll definitely look through his other courses when I want to learn brand-new-to-me things! Thanks, John - Great Job! =)

I think this deserves five stars for being really concise and very good at having us jump in and get our hands dirty with code. It wasn't the most polished exercise I've seen but ultimately the instructor makes the concepts clear. These are basic tools that will help give you perspective in more substantive JS courses.

Excellent. I've tried learning javascript before and always failed. This course has been the breakthrough for me. John's teaching style is excellent - he's really got the ability to get the essentials over to you. This course is only an introduction but it's given me the confidence to go on and learn more javascript.

i had a fear with learning javascript, for newbies i would definitely recommend you take this course, now i will get my hands dirty and thing of projects where i can create interactive stuff and animations on projects that i have worked on. Thank you john and i will look forward in taking further courses from you.

really good , clear , useful, straight to the point motivating to continue quick reviews of what we saw last lesson, more explanation than many other tech courses i took, may I add that I always understood perfectly, clear and concise, great super short lessons teaches also some features of jsbin very useful :) scope explanation I finally get !

Very good introduction to JavaScript, and the quality of the videos is superb. I only wish it included while statements and some kind of end project where you could see these skills applied in a program or app. Still, highly recommended.

This is an excellent introduction into Javascript and programming in general; the bare-bones example-driven instruction help keep at bay the extraneous material that usually clogs up other courses (especially book-driven courses) and gets right to the meat of coding in JS.

As a JavaScript newbie it was easy to get the hang of the scripting language. It is straight forward on the way JS works within a webpage, how the syntax is and some very basic programming in the language. Nicely passed and compartmented. Picking up after a interruption is easy. Thanks for this.

This isn't a full-blown Javascript course by any means, but it's definitely a great brief introduction to the language. The instructor keeps things simple and understandable. If you have prior programming knowledge, then this is just a preview of the language. If you don't, then you're getting an intro to basic fundamentals of programming, as well.

I have pretty much never touched Javascript before this week. I took this course because I was struggling in one of my units at university and I desperately needed a quick catch-up. I finished this in a few hours and I feel a lot more confident. Everything was well explained, and if you make the effort to do the exercises along with the instructor, and then RE-DO them by yourself afterward, you'll get a lot out of it.
