Our take
Based on the ratings of 14,893 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in August 2022. No course pays to be reviewed.
Abi Carver's mobility challenge is part four of a five-part series. It is 15 short videos in three sections called Foundations, Fluency and Mastery, with five 15-minute flows in each. The flows are vinyasa style and built around Warrior 1, 2 and 3, Extended Side Angle and Reverse Warrior. The description itself calls the pace fairly fast, and the requirements say students should already have some yoga experience. The audience list also warns against taking it while injured. Total running time is 3.8 hours.
Reviewers like the clear, repeated cueing. One says the poses are always explained with the same words, so after a few runs they could just listen to the voice and focus on breathing. Another says they almost never have to look at the screen now. Several describe it as an easy fit for a busy schedule, and a few mention better flexibility and a calmer head. The complaints are about speed. A first-timer says the video moves on before there is time to adjust, and a happier reviewer slowed playback to 75%. Poses that are unfamiliar make it hard, so watching a flow once first helps.
The sample is mostly positive. Of 14,893 ratings, 8,355 are five stars and 5,199 are four stars, with only 190 at one or two stars. The course was last updated in August 2022, but flow sequences do not age much. Good if you already practice yoga and want a routine to repeat. If you are starting from zero, begin with an earlier course in the series.
Pros
- Poses are cued with the same words each time, so flows become easy to follow without watching
- Each session is 15 minutes, which reviewers say fits into a busy schedule
- Reviewers report better flexibility, balance and a clearer head
- Fifteen different flows give variety and a clear progression across three sections
Cons
- Fast pace; a first-timer says the video moves on before poses can be adjusted
- Requires prior yoga experience, and the audience list warns against doing it with an injury
It's getting to the point where I almost never have to look at the screen to see how something is done. Very clear and easy to follow.
Marked intermediate, and the requirements ask for some yoga practice. A beginner reviewer found it too quick.

“GREAT!!!!” Sakshi Shokeen
"I like it it s short and u can easily and always find time." Leilaki
"I love this course. The mobility challenge is a great way to start my day. 've done two other courses by Abi; the strength and introduction course. Her instructions are very concise, and her self-checking tips are on point as always. I feel the difference after completing each exercise, and I see how I'm gradually progressing. I highly recommend this course to anyone who's looking to try out yoga without any of the spiritual woo-woos that some teachers may have. :)" Adelyn
"Abi's 15 minute routines are perfect for those who need a quick yoga workout at the beginning of a busy day or at the end of a long one. I've tried one hour programs that seem to take up too much time in the morning and resulted in more often than not, me skipping the workout all together. Fifteen minutes is just enough to get a good stretch in to get you ready for the rest of your day." Scott Chin

Very nice course! The instructions were easy to follow, and I felt great after completing the routines. I did find the pace a bit fast at times, so I reduced the playback speed to 75%, which made it much easier to follow along.

I started with Total Yoga course and then picked up this mobility challenge course. This has really helped me in becoming more flexible and I enjoy it so much that I have developed a daily routine to do two 15 mins sessions every day. Thanks Abi!

This was challenging for me and I'll have to go back through it several times but I do believe it is helping with flexibility and I appreciate very much all the breathing cues. It's getting to the point where I almost never have to look at the screen to see how something is done. Very clear and easy to follow. Thank you!

for a totally unexperienced participant, it's too quick to follow. You would need some seconds to control and adjust your poses - the video is already moving on

The sequence of asana was explained very well along with breathing and it make me easy to follow the steps. This has helped me energized and active whole day . I will be continuing this course to increase my mobility. Thanks.

I think the first exercise is too fast, especially when you haven't done Yoga before and it is quite heavy to start with. The voice sounds like a robot, it is better and more engaging when the teacher self is telling you what to do. But the other exercises were much easier to sustain and less difficult to follow

I never liked yoga classes in the gym as I was uncomfortable with all those around me who were already intermediate. With these sessions, I can do it on my own. It is a functional supplement to my weightlifting programs. I'm giving it 2 thumbs up.

I cycle through 5 of Abi Caver's 5x15 sessions doing one daily for several months now and plan to continue. I do a variety of exercises for 30c minutes before and follow it with Yoga. I am very pleased with Abi's instruction. One suggestion is that at the end of a sequence while in final resting pose the next sequence will start. I have to interrupt the meditation in the pose to stop the play and then lie back and resume. It would be very helpful not to have that interruption.
