Great teacher, interesting and relevant content. No support with training material: students have to set own markers to jump to one of the many licks and question for tabs was answered with: create your own.

Content is very good, he explains it all, but you really have to focus and pay attention, I write the Tab for myself down as we go along. It gets the results I want, but with already provided Tabs it would be easier. But without doubt you really learn to play guitar very well if you put in the effort.

I learned a lot from this course. Even though I've gone through all the lessons at least once, the game plan is to continue to watch the lessons over and over until they're all burned into my memory so that I'll have "many tools in the tool chest". Not a bad match. I've been playing for 52 years, I can play leads. I had difficulty following the up/down/up picking pattern discussed in this video. I'll need to study it further to try to get a better understanding of how to make it work. Also, I may not be able to play that quickly, either.

This was exactly the course I was looking for! Thank you so much. I play lead guitar in a band and I tend to get stuck in the pentatonic boxes. So I was looking for new ways to use the shapes and connect them. I wanted a kind of a "toolbox" of licks that I can use in my solos. I always improvise them on the spot when I play in my band and this course has given me a lot of new ideas and concepts already (and I haven't even finished it). What I also like is that it not restricted to only "shredding" licks. It has a lot of variety. The teaching is very accurate and given in a pleasant way. I think this is not a (fresh) beginners course, it's a big plus if you know your (pentatonic) scales already. But if you know them, the way it is taught makes it applicable to any scale and therefor any song, because the teacher mentions the keys and the boxes of the scale. I can learn the licks and apply them to any scale and any song I play in the band. Again, thank you a lot. This is one of the best courses I've come across on Udemy if you want to up your soloing skills and techniques.

I love licks. Always loved UFO and the might Schenker, and this course is delivering just what I wanted. Love the way the notes are shown but even more I love the explanations on the mechanics to help get them to speed. Great info and highly recommended!!

He did not just show the lick by itself. It was shown in multiple versions and multiple keys and applies to multiple scales and he even showed you the scales. So not only do you learn the lick you are taught the scales behind the lick! Very nice!
