3D Modeling Piped Systems in AutoCAD (Udemy.com)

So far seems good for what I needed. “Update” I only needed to learn some basic skills for 2D to do p&ids. This course is great if you want to learn 3d piping but he covers the basics and some advanced autocad on his way there, and he is actually a very good instructor and makes learning enjoyable.

First of all i want to say that i am already familiar with AutoCAD and wanted to increase my level with pipelines and especially with 3D. There are some points which i didn't like in this course: 1. For the absolute beginners it will be frustrating and confusing to use extra tool bars. It is not necessary because everything you need is already on the standard panel and Paul just confuses people. 2. In the Snap section He just stopped explaining snaps half way and said 'go and search on the Internet if you want to know about the remaining snaps' 3. All of the time i had a feeling that this course is led by a beginner after he just completed some different course and started his own. ( Paul has never used Array or Offset when creating some figures. The squares were created with LINES!!! when we already have Square command!!! I noticed a lot of mistakes and things which you can do much more faster and simpler) 4. I thought we will use blocks to make the life for engineers much easier, to count all fittings in the specification not in the head. Just to automise the process. But when he started to count washers and bolts by hand i gave up. (okay you have system with 48 washers. but what people should do if they have 1000-3000 pieces in the system? It's ridiculous) 5. Quizzes are confusing or some of them are just terrible written. Yes you can find it useful in some way but the attitude towards this course is upsetting me.

The Course itself provided the information and skills of what it said it would as well as a greater understanding of the 3d modelling system of AutoCAD. As well as this Paul is a Legend.

This course brought a fluency in designing on Auto Cad, It's a good course if you want to be familiar with all the tools and become qualified in auto cad

This course is absolutely fantastic. It is the best course I've taken on Udemy. If you have 0 experience in AutoCAD, like I had (I only had taken 2D hand drawing classes), this course brings you to a high level in about 12-36h of learning and practice. Outstanding, thank you a lot Mr. Lynn!

Been through the course twice over but lost the use of the AutoCad software. Sadly my ideas of designing other assembly packages will have to wait. This course far exceeded my expectations and has opened up opportunities that I did not expect to be realised. Thank you Paul and I will be following up on your other courses of interest.

Paul Great job. A couple of things. Maybe break up the course in two or three separate sections for a certification for each. Building the parts up, Building the vessels and skid, then putting it all together. You then could go more deeply into each section. I had problems lining things up on the complete assembly.
