Course Description
Have you been wanting to learn about 3D resin printing? Then this is the course for you!
3D resin printing is becoming increasingly popular for good reason. Over the past few years, resin printers and materials have gotten more and more affordable, opening up a whole new world of 3D printing to enthusiasts.
Resin printing differs from traditional FDM 3D printing in that it uses lightwaves to create smooth and detailed prints out of a liquid photo polymer resin. This zero-waste process is faster and can create much more finely detailed prints than FDM printers.
The process to create 3D resin prints can seem a little daunting at first, even if you’re familiar with traditional FDM printing, but once you understand how to prepare a file, send it to the printer, and clean the finished prints, the results are stunning! 3D resin prints are incredibly detailed and beautiful.
In this course, I will walk you through every part of the 3D resin printing process. We will cover:
The different types of 3D resin printers
Factors involved in deciding which resin printer is right for you
Different resins you can use when printing
How to prepare your files for printing using the leading 3D resin slicer, Chitubox
How to properly post-process your files: removing them from the print bed, removing supports, cleaning and curing
Finishing your prints: Sanding, priming and painting

This was a great introduction to MSLA 3D printing and it gave me everything I need to complete my first prints! I was nervous about adding supports and how resin flow inside of a hollow model might work, however Kevin shows great attention to detail and explains both concepts very well.

This was an excellent course and as a beginner it was the soup to nuts beginning course that I was looking for. My only suggestion and especially as it relates to Chitubox is that the author should provide a file that everyone watching the video can use at the same time. There is nothing better than doing as the video is playing. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this course those wanting to learn 3D printing.

I was hoping for more detailed explanations of the print settings. I'm having difficulty working with a specialized type of resin (various types of print failures) and I wanted a deeper understanding of each setting option. Otherwise it's been a good course so far. Clear and easy to follow.

Great beginner topic. I think covering calibration prints and how to use them to customise exposure, lift settings, etc, would be great for the beginner. All of the beginner topics i've come across cover the bare basics leaving the learner a false sense of what lies ahead. Delve a bit more into the trouble shooting aspects to help beginners.

Kevin has given me information I have been unable to find in a single place before. He is knowledgeable on the content and his explanation is clear. I would recommend this course as an absolute must for beginners. Sound quality could do with some improvement.

I was looking for a general intro to resin 3D printing and I'm very happy with this course - a very straightforward look at what you have to do to print, all the basic information and some useful tips that helped me save time and money instead of learning them by trial-and-error. Recommended.

Highly recommended due to the clear information and valuable tips, only audio is very fluctuant along the course, some videos have a well volume but some others are low or have echo. However i found the classes so ilustrative and helpful that it finally didn’t affected the learning process.

So far I am quite happy that I bought the course. I already own a filament 3d printer and was considering getting a resin printer. I picked up quite a lot of interesting facts about resin printing and will be buying mine within the next week. Thanks for an interesting course.

This is an excellent course on learning 3D resin printing. The instructor presented the material in a way that was easy to follow and engaging. The section he presented on working in Chitubox and adding supports to complex models was very well done. This course will help improve your 3D resin printing workflow.
