Good Content, Narration and material. Projects with supporting files accompanied with good handling of the topics helped me a lot to get mastery over many tools, which I believe will go a long way in mastering max over a period of time. I can see that some of the more complicated topics were intentfully not gone too deeply. I suppose you come out with a part-2 to deal with all the more difficult topics. Thank you once again. Good Job.

The course is great. I've never seen something like this before and it's definitely the thing from which you should start. I regret I didn't find it couple of years ago. Nevertheless, there are still things to improve - too old version of max and no word of unwrapping.

I needed a refresher for 3ds Max and this class just works! I enjoyed every lessons that I took. Instructor is very easy to understand and has a great voice for lecturing. I totally recommend this. I look forward to any 3D class this instructor gives in the future. I will be there.

As an advanced/experienced 3D artist in Max, I bought this tutorial to start learning about animation in Max which is being explained in section 14. I decided to follow the tutorial from start to finish and see if there's anything new to learn and improve my workflow with, even within the topics I'm already familiar with. This tutorial is pretty damn great as indeed I've already learned quite a few things to improve my workflow with and new things that Max offers and I've never really touched! The course however also lacks some (in my opinion) very important information. Firstly; the importance of efficiƫnt meshes hasn't been explained. When using some of Max's features, so called 'Ngons' are being created (Google 'ngon' if you dont know what that is). At all times, stay away from creating these!! Keep your mesh clean and have it exist out of only 3 or 4 edged faces (polygons / verts). Secondly; the course explains about 'mapping' features, but they come short if you want to apply textures and materials to complex models. They just don't have what it takes. The 'UVW unwrap' modifier (the go-to modifier) has been complety left out and wasn't mentioned either! For complex models you'll want to create custom UVW unwraps to apply your textures and materials without distortion. It's fine to leave these topics out for the sake of simplicity, but they are that important they should have atleast been mentioned as important subjects to look into! I've been following this course while using Max 2019, which is fine. Much appreciation towards the instructor. Excellent tutorial, even for the more experienced artists out there. Starting from the absolute beginning, taking the time to make sure you'll understand everything you'll need to become a 3d artist and teaching you efficiƫnt ways to understand the software from A to Z! As two important subjects that I've mentioned are missing, I rate the course 4 stars. Great score for a great course and worth my money!

It appears that the course covers everything you really need in 3ds Max. The lessons are clearly explained, supported with very helpful working files and easy to understand. It all easily makes you learn more and more, and enjoy learning process! Once finished, I am certain to be well prepared for my own journey in 3D design.

The instructor has great communication skills. He is well organized and straight to the point. However, the course could have been more detailed. Introductions to each chapter can get confusing but when you proceed with the lessons it all makes sense.

The sections at the beginning could be shorter i mean the instructor doesn't need to repeat the basic stuff more than once we'll get to know these tools/settings when we are modelling the exact objects of this course. It takes a lot of time to get to the modeling parts.

Good course for learning the basics of modelling (+techniques), material creation (in the compact material editor), rendering, particle systems and animation. No character animation in there though, so if you're looking for the basics of character animation in 3ds max don't get this one. Overall a good course!

This course is definitely the place to start learning about 3DS Max! It was my first encounter with the software and my very first encounter with a 3D package overall. The instructions go down to the very detail and in a very systematic and organized manner. It has given me a huge boost in my 3D modeling, I wholeheartedly recommend this learning path to anyone wanting to study Max the right way!

I recommend this course to everyone that want to learn 3DS Max. It does not matter if your on 2013 or 2015, the basic stay's the same. all documented very well, repeating concepts, tutor speaks clear and is relax. for me a 10+ course.
