Prof. Ryan Ahmed, PhD, MBA
I'm Dr. Ryan Ahmed, professor, engineer, and founder of Stemplicity, where we help people get past the hype and actually build things with AI, Agentic AI, Cloud, and Data Science.
Over the past 10 years, I've taught 1 million learners across 160 countries — 700,000+ enrolled in my Udemy courses, 260,000+ subscribers on the "Prof. Ryan Ahmed" YouTube channel, and 120,000+ on Coursera. I also run corporate AI training for teams at HSBC, RBC, Discover, and Barclays across the US, Canada, and the UK. I held leadership roles at GM, Samsung, and Stellantis in Canada and the U.S., working on electric and autonomous vehicle technologies.
I hold a MASc, PhD, and MBA from McMaster University. I’m also a licensed Professional Engineer and a Stanford-certified program manager with over 60+ published research papers in AI and battery systems.
But credentials are the least interesting part. Here's what I actually believe: "AI is the biggest opportunity of our lifetime", and most people are sitting it out because they think they need to code or have a PhD. You don't. If you're willing to show up and try, I'll help you get good at this.

excellent course the content was well structured esay to follow and very useful for learning matlab simulink simscape and chstgpt i iearned many new concept and enjoyed the course
By David Eduardo Benalcázar Rojas on 1/28/2026
Me gusta que repite los conceptos porque al ser nuevos se me hace dificil memorizarlos y al repetirlos se me graba mejor el conocimiento nuevo que estoy adquiriendo

It is a good course, quick and effective. Topics are covered at very high level but enough to develop a curiosity factor in learners. Enjoy and keep learning.

Sections 1-5 was really amazing and very useful. Section 6 gave basic understanding of the topic and section 7 was also useful. If control systems concepts were introduced along with sections 1-5 it would be more useful. But the course content was great!!!

Work Shop is good with plenty of knowledge. It will be more eye catching if reasons are also fed along with few things taught by trainer. Rest Valuable course.

Very knowledgeable….repeating tasks in various forms and scenarios optimized my ability to grasp the concept. This was very helpful for me. Overviewing ChatGPT and programming was mind blowing for me as an electrical engineer and is helping me think out of the box about GPT applications. This is a great class thought by an awesome and knowledgeable instructor, thanks !!

No q/a support but good explainations and precise modelling instructions, the scripts and models could use some trouble shooting as there are errors which might affect the running of code and newbies could have a hard time figuring out. All in all enjoyed my course and feel more confident now.
By Siddhant Sarraf on 2/9/2023
The course is really great for someone who wishes to start learning MATLAB from basics. OfCourse one has to dig deep on his/her level to be able to learn more, but I must appreciate how Dr Ryan has put effort to create this course.
By Moreshwar Salpekar on 10/4/2022
The course was better than the previous Matlab course in terms of explanation. Wish some of the topics covered there like electric modelling could be added here. The equation derivation for double mass dampner in Laplace domain requires simple math but formula is complicated overall and tough to remember. I used and was able use easily Simscape. I am looking forward to more simscape modelling from the same instructor.
By Dhrubojyoti Paul on 7/26/2022
Yes, This is very much helpful for understanding the basis of simscape model with script file. But in the script file there is command Plot(ans.x1) and I used plot(out.x1) why there is difference?
