Starting out at the age of 12 I never stopped learning new programming skills and languages. Early I started creating websites for friends and just for fun as well. Besides web development I also explored Python and other non-web-only languages. This passion has since lasted and lead to my decision of working as a freelance web developer and consultant. The success and fun I have in this job is immense and really keeps that passion burningly alive.

Starting web development on the backend (PHP with Laravel, NodeJS, Python) I also became more and more of a frontend developer using modern frameworks like React, Angular or VueJS in a lot of projects. I love both worlds nowadays!

I also build full-stack applications and acquired expert DevOps and cloud computing knowledge - proven by the many AWS certifications I hold (incl. the top-level Solutions Architect Professional certification).

As a self-taught developer I had the chance to broaden my horizon by studying Business Administration where I hold a Master's degree. That enabled me to work in a major strategy consultancy as well as a bank. While learning, that I enjoy development more than these fields, the time in this sector greatly improved my overall experience and skills.

The Course is informative, and the instructor is very knowledgeable. However, if you are an absolute beginner to programming, especially Javascript, you will at some point get lost, as the instructor does not explain every concept from scratch. For me I am already proficient in many programming languages, and this was a refresher, and I still had to research things on Google that would have been explained as basics by the instructor. To summarize, if you are an absolute beginner to programming, especially Javascript, this course is not for you. If you already have some basic knowledge about Javascript, and wish to enhance what you know, take this course. Thanks.

Fantastic training that covers the necessary basics of JS. Great for anyone who is new to Javascript or needs a refresher on main topics.\n\nAs an intern junior software developer who was thrown into Angular (with Max's Angular Udemy course provided), this course has helped me conceptualize and develop my own code to apply to developing with Angular. I will continue onto more of Max's courses including learning ES6 and Typescript to gain a better understanding of Angular and later React.

Max has an excellent way of teaching, I got introduced to Max from his Angular course but because my foundation on JavaScript was not solid, I didn't find that course so appealing but going through this course I think it would be amazing doing Angular 8 complete course now.

Maximilian breaks down the fundamental concepts and syntax of Javascript really well and alleviates many confusions people new to programming or the Javascript language might experience. I do think more examples applying the learning to actual web development projects would be very helpful.
