I wanted a course to refresh my photoshop skills (I haven't used it in the past 10 years and the new layout etc confused me). This is really a very beginner course but I will suggest it to people starting out. The only thing that really bothered me is that the sound isn't very clear compared to other courses on Udemy.

i looooved this as an introduction to photoshop, just enough to give that kick to get you started with photoshoop and get familiar with the most common toolbar menus, windows, and tools in photoshop. I want a part two of this course for intermediate level now to go a little deeper into photoshop

The course was exactly as described. The lecturer was professional and concise, which I prefer. As a Mac user I especially liked the shortcuts shown. I learned a few new ones, thanks! I gave it 4 stars because I already was familiar with some of the content that was reviewed, not because of the quality of the course.

I'm learning the basics of layers and seems to be going well :) The only thing I would have changed, or perhaps added a 1 minute info, would be about one of the "adjustments" that the instructur used during the course. Instead of going for the "Curves..." adjustment, witch is hard to understand, the instructur could have used another. Overall, I really liked the simplicity and the introduction to the basics of Photoshop. Thank you very much! :)

I'm a little more advanced than a beginner, I felt this course will suit people who have a basic working knowledge of Photoshop. Loved the fact that it was short and sweet while covering the important tools and tricks. Felt the lessons could be done as separate videos for separate lessons rather than just one video cuts into bits. Otherwise a good course.

Enjoyed the course and learned some of the basics. For a base course it was good, but only for someone that had little or no experience using Photoshop before. The pace was a little to fast jumping through some of the features and not always explaining what was picked, but this was stated in the class introduction. Still a little more explanation along the way would help.

The first time I used Photoshop was when I was in Grade 4, elementary school. I was designing for a website I wanted to be published. So photoshop was a very good tool to use. However, I learned alot (Beginner lessons) from this course and I think they can be very useful when applied to real-world situations such as removing acne, or graffiti, or graphic and making photos seem like it came out from magazines. The instructor also taught the lessons very well. His command of English made the communication process (From instructor to student) easy, and understandable. I would take more courses from Life Progression Project.

Very good course, well explained and detailed. Do not hope to be advanced, but if you are a beginner, it will bring you some very good information to start. If you are an intermediate user, like me, it will give you some tips hidden on the content that you will also know. Maybe the instructor should only use more keyboard shortcuts, because beginners will start resizing brushes on the mouse instead of brackets, zooming in and out on the navigator window and not on the trackpad, as well as moving on the image using mouse+space instead of 2-fingers on the trackpad (considering it was a mac based course).

It was a very good course but he did not always say the keyboard shortcut for Windows and that made it harder for me as I had to look around the menu's to figure out what to press in Windows, as not everyone who uses Photoshop uses a Mac. Overall though it was a very good course and he otherwise explained things real well. I did get allot out of it though and overall highly enjoyed it. Thanks.

This course was perfect for a complete beginner. The pacing and tone was excellent. I liked how the instructor spent a fair amount of time in each section playing with the tool and going back and forth to show some of the full potential of each one. Thank you for using the menus and not just the key commands. It helped a lot to show both and say it out loud and go slowly. I came in as a complete no nothing and now I have a better idea. I will be re-watching this.
