Allen Bradley Micrologix PLC Programming (PLC-SCADA-1) (Udemy.com)

It was an exceptional course with a lof informative. But i didn't get any instruction concerned SCADA-1

Course covers basics but not even a single word about analog input and output? No Analog scaling? PID controller? Real life examples are also missing. Giving 4 stars as Instructor tried to cover other Micrologix topics.

This is a good introduction to the AB RS Logix instruction set. With simple examples and some problems for the student. I would like to see the instructor take the course to the next level with more complex programming examples and problems.

The course offers decent introduction to MicroLogix programming. Personally, I find it rather basic and repetitive as I am already experienced automation engineer (although not with Allen Bradley). The review is, however, based on what the course has covered, available examples and how the content was delivered (language, mistakes in slides, etc.) All in all, it was worth what I've paid for. This is a great starter course for someone that hasn't seen PLCs before. However, you need a understanding of AC/DC Theory to understand some of the logic behind the methods used in the course. I have had school, though a while ago, but it was still a good refresher to see what I still remember from 10 years ago.

Grammar and written part of lesson is sub par and hard to follow at points. There needs to be a higher level proof reader. Technical content is at a manageable pace with good examples and practice problems to help grasp the concepts. Overall learning would also benefit with an end of course problem that tries to incorporate as much of the course content for a real world example.

Everything is very good and nicely explained. Helped me to clear out lots of confusions I had when I was programming by myself. This course makes me knowledgeable about PLC/SCADA. The only course on allen bradley micrologix PLC Programming on Udemy, will refer to my friends who are looking to build a career in this field.

tutor way of explanation is Crystal clear. All the topics were covered really good. Structure of the course and its contents are perhaps well up to the industry- level requirements and highly advisable to opt one.

The instructor was very knowledgeable in the subject matter. He created many examples to demonstrate how various features worked and explained them in a professional way, so that anyone can understand the topic. The course covered a lot of material from the basic to the more advanced. I felt that this course was worth time and the price was very reasonable. This required that you do some work to keep up with the classes. This was a very good course and I would recommend it for the beginning to early intermediate PLC Programmer.
