Yes, it was a very helpful course that taught me many things about the engine, albeit on an older, dated version of it. The teacher spoke in a foreign language, but that wasn't much of a problem as the subtitles clarified his topics well. He was very friendly and enthusiastic, making what could easily be a dry subject rather entertaining without losing any of the important information. I'm glad to have taken this course and I would like to see more like it!

So far I like it, my only complaint is that it could use some updating as the current version of Godot looks a bit different and some options are missing or relocated. Just takes a minute or two to either find it or Google it so not a huge deal.

I was a bit upset about language of the course, but it works surprisingly well with the subtitles! I have almost completed the first section of the course and I love that the course comes with game assets so I can concentrate solely on how the engine works! Some of the scripts are a bit out dated if your using the latest Godot, but you can quickly Google and come around those issues.

Got a bit of a shock when the speech was in Portuguese, but other people said stay with the course, so I did. The instructors translations are easy to follow and so far I have followed along. I am using a newer version of Godot (3.1.1) and have managed to find most of the settings equivalent than the older version the course was written on.

I'm only at the first Flappy Bird game but the course is very easy to follow and understand. Even though it's in portuguese, the english translation is very good and I'm having no trouble following along with the tutorials. Another concern I was having was that this is for Godot 2.0, fortunately the changes in code are so minimal, it's easy to figure them out. The instructor recommends you follow with godot 2.0 but I think if you have some experience with 3, you'll be able to do it with the newest version. Overall, I'm very happy with the course so far, I'll update the review when I'm done with it though I'm sure if the rest of the tutorials are as good as the first, it will definitely be worthwhile to try.

As the course was made on a 2.x version of Godot, I had several times where I had to find for myself how to achieve the same result, and some times, some functions he used didn't work with the newer version of Godot so again, that made me search by myself wich was a good exercise for me but can be a bit annoying for others. Maybe a redux of the course wouldn't be a bad idea. Thank you for this course, I'm feeling ready to jump into my first very own project now =D

The English translation is excellent and the projects were fun to make. By the end of the course, I had a better appreciation for the Godot Engine and GDScript. For mobile games, you may want to consider Godot first before Unity. Godot is open source and is lean compared to most other engines. The version I used for this course was Godot 2.1.4. If you have experience with Python or Lua, GDScript will be easy to learn. If not, this course will help you understand the code you need to create functioning mobile games. Overall, this course was a good introduction to Godot.
