Ansys Workbench is a general-purpose Finite Element Analysis (FEA)software that is widely used in the Industry and Academia to solve many different engineering problems through a virtual simulation of the Engineering Designs under consideration. Ansys Workbench is applied to virtual simulate the product operating conditions and helps us to understand its behavior and helps us achieve very good design through simulation and optimization even before the product has been manufactured.
Using Ansys Workbench software we can Simulate problems from Different fields such as Structural, Vibrations, Heat transfer, Fluid Flows, and many more types.

Potluri Rakesh is currently a Sr. CAE engineer, who has previously worked as Faculty and CAE Engineer with various prestigiousengineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Companies in India.He has been working in the area of Composite Materials and design, right from his undergraduate studies and he continued the same in his Masters as well. He has published several research papers on the topic of Composite Materials in different reputed International Journals and presented his research in very high profile international conferences. He is also the author of a book chapter on Natural composites, published in Springer. He has experience as Junior, senior researcher & principal investigator in different research projects. He has given training on the topic of composite materials analysis, Solidworks, Ansys Workbench, mechanical design in different workshops and training programs conducted in several Engineering colleges. He has got a total of 5 years of teaching and industrial Experience which mainly focused on Design and Analysis of Composites.

Very good explaination by the professor. As it was introduction to the ANSYS software, it was appropriate for this kind of short course. Very well shortly explained and also focused on key points which CAE engineer should take into mind while Analysis. Moreover, kept likely to go for basics for beginners could be also a very good thinking by the professor. As, this software itself is a very large in it and has number of modules which requires its own individual short courses on it, even though the professor tried to cover it shortly in this course. Very much appreciate, the efforts of the professor behind designing such a good course. Worth attending. Thank you professor. I gained lots of knowledge about ANSYS software. Very well rounded course with focus on various types of analysys (static structural, thermal, modal and buckling). Understandable pronounciation, practical examples. Only issue I had was an intro jingle at the beginning of every lecture that grew quite annoying. Otherwise I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to gain or strenghten their basic skills in Ansys Workbench. Great job!
