Apache NiFi Complete Master Course - HDP - Automation ETL (Udemy.com)

Explanation is Awesome and he’s explaining in such a way that I don’t have to google any words or stuff because he’s showing everything on Canvas too while explaining which makes it easier to understand !!

The course is very good to introduce Apache Nifi and main features. Besides, examples of use cases are provided so it gives an idea about how workflows can be used. I would recommend also to update some contests if applicable according new Nifi versions released.

WITH MY ETL BACKGROUND, IT WAS NOT THAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND THE FUNDAMENTAL OF NI FI. THEORY AND DEMO ARE BOTH VERY CLEAR AND LEARNED ALOT. THANKS.

Very good introduction about Nifi, with lot's of use cases to integrate with other technologies such as Kafka, hdfs, AWS, Solr and others. I hoped we can have more examples for Nifi as ETL tool, working more on transformation and data enrichments based on file contents. maybe starting with a processing a CSV files, apply some transformation rules based on its contents and then load enriched data into a database for further reporting and analysis. overall the course was very helpful.

Surely there is a lot of information in your lessons. But it's hard for me to listen. Your pronunciation is difficult for me, your accent strange. I.e. at the beginning of lesson 31: "How to setup a NiFi?... Cluster." Come on. You're doing it all the time.

Following this course actually needs a basic knowledge in NiFi, as well as a good understanding of the NiFi Flow Configuration module (which I learned from a youtoube video). Muthukumar Subramanian speaks too fast (needs repeatedly rewinding the course snippet). His knowledge is very good, but his methodology not so good.

The course was good but to follow along better, there were other things that needed to be set up but there were no instructions on how to do it...ie...Databases and clusters in order for certain processors to work. The last few sections also got really complicated...but overall it was a good course.

Great course, but i was expecting it to contain details on minifi setup which was advertise. which is totally missing. Nothing on minifi

It would be good if you share more details like schema file then It would be easier for practice as we are new to schema file

Presents necessary information directly and explains how everything works but the presentation is often fast and jumps around, it's not clear what actions he's taking and can be difficult to create the flows yourself as you watch/listen. Good if you just want to have NiFi explained and get a library of templates (all examples are provided for download), not as good if you want to learn by building them yourself. That said, I just paused the videos, built my flows to match his examples, and I feel much more confident with NiFi.
