In this short course we will scrape data from an Real Estate website, using the hidden API.

Especially for people who work with data it is important to be able to create own datasets. Often we rely on datasets from someone else. This course should show all data enthusiasts how to scrape and store data in Excel Files and in the PostgreSQL database.

The requirement for this course is basic knowledge of Python Programming. Since we will not cover very difficult Python topics you do not have to be a professional. The most important characteristic is that you are curious about Web Scraping and Data Mining. You should be ready to invest time in gaining the knowledge which is taught in this course.

This is the best web scraping tutorial I have done. The other ones used beautiful soup and the code was a bit messy. This one was quite easy to follow along. I appreciate it. Now I want to learn how to clean it and create a regression with the data.

Cours très clair pour des débutants : les étapes de la démarche de scrapping "à la main" sont bien explicitées sur l'exemple pris. Le formateur a une très bonne élocution. Ce cours permet de bien comprendre le processus de scrapping via requête, conversion en json et récupération des données de ce dernier. La partie PostGreSQL est très peu abordée, et la construction de la base de données finale n'est que survolée.
