You may be working as a freelancer or may have a full-time job as an app developer or architect. Whether you create one app a year or multiple apps in a month - there must have been times when you got tired of looking at long strings of code tangled together into a spaghetti-like mess.
This is particularly painful if you have to inherit a legacy code base and you have to add features to it or fix bugs.
Make your life easier and building apps fun...............by learning tried and tested software architectural patterns.
In this course – you will Get a detailed and behind the scenes look at Model-View-Presenter (MVP) pattern, which helps make code simple and clean. You also get familiar with other fundamental concepts like dependency injection, reactive programming, unit testing, mock objects which assist you throughout the app development lifecycle. Learn frameworks like Dagger 2, Retrofit, RxJava and RxJava 2, Junit, Mockito and others.
Gain valuable skills of architecting apps in a flexible and scalable manner. Advance your career and work on more cutting edge projects out there.

The course is great. If you want understand MVP is a great start. But in my view this course can be far better. So I have some suggestions about it. There is no must do. Those are just points I saw could be improved. It's up to folks to think about what should be changed or not. - The used libraries are out of dated. A major course update will be great. We start the course fighting to setup old versions. For me It was a waste of time just to start coding along the videos. - Many explanations with static screen. It could show info-graphics, code blocks, etc. It would help a lot to understand. - There are to many repetitions of concepts and sentences in different videos. For some people it's helps to learn more but in my view there are a lot. - LECTURE 25 and 26 To implement the changes explaining "why" and coding along would be better the paste and talking about what changed. - LECTURE 26 Could have more operators examples. Only the filter have been shown. It could be so much better with more examples or more real case of use. - SECTION 6 - PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER Why not implement the and explain instead get the project ready and talk about it. - SECTION 7 This section could be as bonus lectures. - Remember: Static screens are not great or explanations unless it has some code about the subject, images or info-graphics. Done. I enjoyed the course. I have learnt a lot. And yes a recommend the course. And this course could be 5 stars. * The teacher in the section 9 has a so much better English and explanation flow.

It's a good course for beginners and very well explained. Simple to understand the concepts and also implementation was not that tough. The course has a good speed and each topic is explained in-depth. The only drawback I would say is that a few of the libraries that were used in the course were an older version and have not been updated. Please change the way dagger 2(v2.16) is implemented in Android. Thanks & Regards, Rajeev Sharma

I really liked the course, it helped me to understand MVP architecture. This course differs from others because tutor explains everything in very much detail, every line of code and then repeats again what was explained which really helps to understand and remember concepts. Though at the end there is some old content with deprecated code, but tutors did their best to update lessons.

Excellent course that opened me the doors to a more effective programming. I think is greatly useful to move from junior-mid developer towards mid-senior skills. The integration between the MVP pattern, Dagger2, RXJava2 and Retrofit has been enlightening. Bonus lectures are icing on the cake.

Should explain more in deepth. I feel like I can work with dagger, retrofit and rxjava but I don't feel like I understand it very well. This course needs to provide more use cases. Just a single example doesn't really work. I didn't like at all the refatoring part, that wasn't a refactoring, that was more like destroying MVP and let's work with less code! 3 stars because I could learn something at least.

I learned a lot. I liked the app examples. The code worked very well. The description to fix the Twitch API change was comprehensive. Sometimes a bit repetitive, however, I also liked it, better than to fast. I will repeat parts of the course when I need the details for my work. Good job!

This is a very good course that combines all frequently used third-party libraries. The final example is very helpful. But there are 3 potential improvements: 1. It will be more helpful if it includes a more comprehensive introduction to a specific library. I think if I had not known dagger at all, it would be hard for me to know why to use "@inject" in the first place. 2. RxJava has a new major version, called RxJava2. while this course is on RxJava. (Something has changed, such as now people use "Single" more than the superclass "Observable") 3. "omdb" (The web APIs for retrieving data in the final example) now is not free anymore, so the final app cannot display the list of movies.

Great content and nice explanations of each concepts. The module is put together well. Following this can help candidates create clean android apps. Could make assignments part of the tutorial and enable submissions like in other websites. Adding more resources would help. Speaking more naturally while teaching, rather than sounding like reading out of a book, would make it interesting to listen.

Very clear but not perfect. There are some trivial differences between the English subtitles script and the voice. Some rare differences between the video and the github code too. Even rares one and easy to spot. A bit duplicate contents and some contents took from a well known website. Anyway it's a great course and I learned a lot with it. But for all these reasons, even if it's an effective course to learn the taught concept I can't give a better note.

Nice starting. Instead of jumping onto MVP straight away, course started on how mobile and it's technologies are evolved. That gives anybody a feeling of where they are and the taste of the technology that they are building or using. Examples taken are nice. Including the dagger along with MVP made it a Clean Architecture. Nice to see the all 4 popular libraries (MVP, Dagger, Retrofit and RxJava) together and used in one app. Thanks! Sometimes I felt speaking was fast but I rewinded the lecture and listened to it again.
